It keeps growing. The asshole thug that physically forced his way past the guard after verbally abusing her, Justin Caporale, bragged about being a mafia thug that day, acting like a Soprano’s henchman (making the felon a criminal mob boss from a crime family).

Every dishonest denial has fallen flat because you morons bragged about it and posted the campaign photos and videos before realizing how deep you stepped in it with the total disrespect for the military and the law with this ridiculous attempt to abuse fallen soldiers as political props in campaign ads with the felon giving smiling thumbs up to graves.

Yet again, you fell for the obviously fake denial of what’s on clear video and admitted to by those involved.

That was cool, but....

surely this is only funny if you've watched the sopranos? I really hope most of Sesame Streets audience haven't!

Fifth Element -Diva Aria

ChaosEngine says...

Apparently, when the composer showed the sheet music to the soprano that performed the piece, she said that some of the notes written were not humanly possible to achieve because the human voice cannot change notes that fast.

Have a listen to the insane scale she sings around 4:18 and compare that to the same scale at 4:32 in the video @Sagemind linked.... to my untrained ear, they're not quite the same. The Fifth Element version sounds like it drops an octave in the middle.

I could be wrong about that, though.

Either way, it takes nothing away from what is an absolutely amazing performance.

Impressive, but I'm going to have to call them out for claiming it's impossible for a human, since this is the second live version of it I've seen here.....

Armenian girl sing "Fifth Element" Opera live on The Voice.

notarobot says...

When composer Eric Serra showed soprano Inva Mula (who dubs the voice of the Diva) the sheet music for the Diva Dance, she reportedly smiled and relayed to him that some of the notes written were not humanly possible to achieve because the human voice cannot change notes that fast. Hence, she performed the notes in isolation - one by one, as opposed to consecutively singing them all together and they digitized the notes to fit the music. There are a few moments when you can hear the differences in the vocal tones of The Diva's voice.

My apologies - wrong word. Digital "assistance" or "aid" would have been better (in response to newtboy about "help"). As far as I know she sung all the notes (i.e. she didn't need auto-tune to hit the notes).

Yes, they've clearly filtered the singing in some way - but I believe it is for effect rather than correction of tuning or to extend vocal range, etc.

Female Barbershop Quartet Sings Mashup

chingalera says...

He's right y'know...This is four gals harmonizing, far from barbershop. Female vocal ranges (with maybe the rarest of exceptions to be found on the planet) are soprano, mezzo-soprano, and contralto.
