An Animated Nutcracker -- as in Hip Hop Animation
Actually it is called Animation, and Cyrus is a master of it. Although it is probably a mixture -- nobody is a purist anymore.
From Wiki:
Animation
A style and a technique where you imitate film characters being animated by stop motion. The technique of moving rigidly and jerky by tensing muscles and using techniques similar to strobing and the robot makes it appear as if the dancer has been animated frame by frame. This style was heavily inspired by the dynamation films created by Ray Harryhausen, such as The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad (1958).
And if you look at the list of male contestants, you'll see Cyrus having given himself the label of "animation."

No idea where the title came from. Has nothing to do with hip hop. It is a dance style called robot.
One eyed goat
NO
FREAKING
WAY!
Someone call Sinbad, he knows what to do with a Cyclops.
Remember me Eddie?! When I killed your brother...
The first film I can find to use animation and live actors 'interacting' was Harryhausen's The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms (1953). If you follow early cinema you'd also be aware of his 7th Voyage of Sinbad and Jason and the Argonauts. Harryhausen was the guy who really created this field of trick photography. That's why he gets a nod from Pixar in Monsters Inc.
What does Sarah Silverman's vagina smell like?
>> ^Ryjkyj:
Considering that most Americans don't get Sarah Silverman, I'm more than happy to be lumped in with the intelligent few that do. See, the whole idea of Sarah Silverman's "act" (I can't believe I'm actually having to explain this on the Sift) is to appear as annoying and stupid as possible. Now, you can shrug that off with a witty "well, then she's very good at her job", but that's the whole point. The really funny thing about her is that she annoys people, while the rest of the audience sits back and laughs directly at the people who don't understand. And she IS indeed, very good at her job. You're just not realizing that you're falling for it. So calling her annoying and meaning it is just you... missing the point.
I'm not sure how you could possibly lump her in with Kathy Griffin but I love when people use the whole "shocking" cop out. See, the way that a lot of humor works is that after the set up, some unexpected or "shocking" occurrence ends the joke. It's about reversal and surprise. That's why they call it a "punch" line. People try to say the same thing about Howard Stern, Louis C.K. or even in some cases about George Carlin, when the fact of the matter is that the people who say that kind of thing are still being "shocked" or surprised by they're favorite comedians. It's just that in their case, the favorite comedian happens to be someone like Jeff Dunham, Sinbad, or Carrot Top. But the idea of the reversal is still the same. Some people just find talking Jalapenos more shocking than others.
Dude, I don't like her as a comedian, that has zero to do with "getting" her or missing the point. Just because we don't share the same taste doesn't mean the world's gonna end. Different people like different things, get over it. Next thing you'll try to convince me that I don't like Ben Affleck because I don't "get" him...

That, and her annoying and obnoxious voice/behaviour is what I don't like about her. Her humor is probably "shocking" to most Americans, but to me it just comes off as boring and cheap. Her and Kathy Griffin, bleh.

NEW- CLASH of the TITANS preview (awesome)
>> ^dag:
I enjoyed the original when I was a kid. I remember the special effects for Pegasus being especially good at the time.
I still watch the original, along with Ray Harryhausen's other great works:
Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger
The Golden Voyage of Sinbad
Jason and the Argonauts
The 7th Voyage of Sinbad
One Millions Years B.C.
Mysterious Island
I'm a big fan...
Sinbad the talking Condom
Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)
I dislike condoms. I dislke Sinbad so this seems very right. Also, aren't the lambskin ones effective against pregnancy, just not for STDs?
Katt Williams - Drinking with White Folks and Dancing
He's exactly like Sinbad, only shorter, louder, and funny.
He right! He right! We white people be all like dat an shit!
Why Pirates Is The Best Porn Of All Time
It kinda brings me back to my childhood days watching Sinbad, except with sex.
Suffering from depression? There is hope.
Stupid marketing. They gave away their cure for depression in the ad, and now we don't even have to pay to see Sinbad live!
Origin of the "Jump On It Dance"- Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
I think he meant Sinbad the sailor. And I think he meant Carlton. And I think he meant 0:40. Gotta stop assuming things.
Also, LOVE that thumbnail.
Origin of the "Jump On It Dance"- Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
Does anyone at all think that Will Smith looks a little like Sinbad at 0:42?

Hillary Clinton tells huge freaking lie about trip to Bosnia
I'm with Gunrock on this one. I was in the Balkans a few years before her trip and I can tell you with absolute clarity every time I was shot at and every incident where there was a real threat of violence. You don't forget even if you have been taking too many 3 am phone calls. I would think especially someone with such a sheltered life as she has had would remember with total recall.
Even when she was first busted by Sinbad she tried to blow it off, it took video for her to admit that there wasn't a shred of truth to it. So, worse than just being a cowardly liar she tried to cover up her lies. Reminds me of some other people I know, they live in this big pale colored mansion.
