You should stick around. I'm sure you can get your video out there for everyone to see in other ways than selflinking.

I think he should stay, because he seems earnest. Give him some time to become a member of the Sift, and maybe he can be persuasive and ask someone on here to Sift his video for him. At that point, it won't be a selflink.

As a side note, UPDvideo just sent me a profile message, and it does seem he didn't know he could not selflink. It seems to be a harmless oversight of the rules. What say we discard this video and let him stay without a ban? What say you?
