1. Fix this code;
   
2. Discard the other.

Before I did though, because of the exceptional circumstance of the coincidence of coinciding events, I wanted to be sure it was okay (deads, dupes and discards are an explosive mix) and have the proper oversight.

*promote to celebrate Randy Pausch's life, which sadly came to an end today. He was an inspiring man!
