President Obama Beatboxing
Rahzel's the best... saw him perform live in a small venue, both on and off mic, and still had no clue how he did it.
Björk - Where is the Line?
Interesting. Thanks for your informative comments, bamdrew! Oh, and shame on me for not mentioning Rahzel!
Björk - Where is the Line?
The vast majority of the instrumental vocal sounds are beatbox legend Rahzel. I think Patton added the second vocals (start @ 11 sec in) and some squirrelly background gibberish noises.
And the vid is directed by Gabríela Friðriksdóttir... a kindred spirit with Bjork's man, Matthew Barney, of 'Cremaster Cycle' and 'Drawing Restraint' fame.
Amazing Beatbox
Most of his set is ripped off Rahzel (word for word, sound for sound), but at least he does it fairly well. I guess Farhad's random rant's about it being on ebaums world before or something?
Rahzel - All I Know (fantastic funny BeatBoxing music video)
Rahzel: The Godfather of Noise! By far the best BeatBoxer the world has ever seen. An example of this can be found at his If Your Mother Only Knew (live) and a short (4 minute) documentary here on GoogleVideo (from his album Make The Music...I highly recommend it!)
Rahzel - If Your Mother Only Knew (live)
such a fine word 'shananigans', Rahzel is a fine artist.
Rahzel - If Your Mother Only Knew (live)
Rahzel: 'The Godfather Of Noise' - by far the best beat-boxer in the world. Its a shame theres no better recording available (his Make The Music album versions much better as he slows it down to proove no shananigans going on!)
French beatboxer Eklips (insane skillz)
wow, great find. I normally watch these, and then thinking, well, they dont compare to kenny muhammad or rahzel...so...NEXT! But this guy was great, blends the melody in nicely. definitely worth a watch.
