Did he have to take down an innocent ramp too?

Fletch says...

Fail videos are so ubiquitous that one can usually predict the outcome based upon the setting and props involved. Ramp/pond/bike, guy on roof/folding table on ground, skateboard/stairs, skateboard/park bench/handrail, skateboard/steep hill, merry-go-round/motorcycle, large group of people posing for picture/dock/platform/stage, rope swing/lake, rally car/rally, idiot(s)/fire, idiot(s)/fireworks, concert/stage diver, cat/slippery counter, dog/slippery floor, pickup truck/guy riding something attached to pickup by a rope, park/parkourer parkourering, motorcycle/ramp, motorcycle/wheelie, poser/posing with animal, person buried in sand/dog, inattentive jogger/signpost, ridiculously expensive luxury car/just drivin' down the road, car/trolley, car/bus, car/train gate, car/other traffic control devices, singer/national anthem... etc.

I still like watching them, though. The misfortune of others can be very entertaining (as long as no one gets seriously hurt).

Crow goes sledging

deathcow says...

We see BIG ravens here, they can be mindblowing when they're up on the back of a pickup truck and you walk right past em, big suckers and smart as a whip.

The best ravens to hunt and eat are the mcdonalds parking lot ones, they taste delicious.

59 Year Old Woman Scores "Hole In One" Hockey Trick Shot.

critical_d says...

When my brother was married, the wedding party got together for a night out and a hockey game included. They had the same contest and some guy won a new pickup truck with the one-in-a-million shot. The crowd (and the winner) went wild...fun, fun.

How to have a very bad day

Porksandwich says...

They got out of the truck a bunch of times before it started. I wonder if something got wedged underneath his gas pedal and that's why he was standing besides the truck and leaning down.

I know when you've spent the day working and people collect all the bottled water and gatorade they end up in the pickup truck with half of them loose if you can't find a garbage can....they make great brake and gas pedal wedges.

Pickup driver tries to kill a motorcyclist

Barbar says...

I can understand being pissed at the motorcyclists for speeding and passing illegally, along a winding street with houses on it, in particular if it is a street that they habitually use for this. But, starting a race, where you spend a good portion of the time in the oncoming lane, after trying to kill one of them, is hardly a recipe for greater safety. With any luck they'll all get in trouble, although much more so for the fella in the pickup truck.

Snow Plow Parking Deck Fail

Porksandwich says...

Hell that thing is meant to hold up many more cars than that. It's probably lack of repairs for years around drains..and one just gave out. There's a school my dad's family asphalt business used to do repair work for and they had a massive underground pipe and drain system. In places you could climb down 20 feet to reach the bottom of one of these drains. Due to them being concrete the salt would eat away at the top supporting the grate and the rim outside the grate hole...so eventually the top would cave in. That thing could swallow either end of a car fairly easily. Saw one even try to eat a bus when the side wall of it caved in and all the surrounding stone and asphalt was eroded into the resulting hole.

They used to have us do repairs on these, until one year someone on the board (who had a business interest) complained and got them to give him the concrete work (it's a pretty horrible job to fix, but hey it's money). The guy repaired them, they failed a year later...since he just put new concrete on top settled on a base of weak and salt eaten concrete....when he should have replaced the whole thing with an entirely new pre-cast top so it wouldn't twist and break and crumble in.

If they don't build these structures to support much higher weights than your typical car...some pickup trucks can rival the weight of an unloaded dump truck and would result in the same failure in all structures.

We have a training video at work that shows a pickup truck driven into the jetblast stream, blows it right off the ramp and into a river... way cool.

Training for what? Airport workers?

yup, part of our job involves driving tugs out on the ramp so, they want to make us aware of the danger of driving behind an aircraft. I'd still like to experience me some wake turbulence...
