Paintballs don't hurt unless you're playing in the dead of winter.

I've never played airsoft, but I played paintball years ago. I can't imagine airsoft hurting worse than paintball, especially seeing some of the people in this video playing with just glasses on. Paintball shots leave massive welts, and hitting the right place can break the skin. I still have a scar on my leg from a paintball hit, and I've seen a guy get knocked out from a head shot. Some guy climbed a treed and shot someone from above. The masks don't cover the top of your head, and he got hit right on the top of his and dropped him limp and out cold for a few seconds.

I've done paintball before, just wondering how airsoft is different. Do you just use the honor system as far as being hit?

He's not actually part of their paintball group, he just shows up and terrorizes other peoples parties from the treeline.

Operation Flashpoint was also fantastic. I remember spending lots of time running through vast forests with no action to only find a clearing and have to sit there waiting for a tank to pass or taking one step out and being killed. Just like war... or paintball in RL.
