Ariel atom on Nurburgring VS Corvette Z06 600HP
I've only seen 1 Atom in person. It sits much lower than it seems from any pictures/video. Surprised it doesn't have paddle shifters.
The Slingshot seems to also be fun, but at an actually affordable price (half the price of a T-Rex even). I'm not sure if it requires a motorcycle license though, since it's titled as such.
Slipper Cat
Cats like to do things because it feels right to them. If it feels right, do this. No approval system, or votes, or craps given about observers. Just do whatever, uh, 'thing'.. and do it with conviction.
I mean, do you even know the utter joy of sticking your entire head AND an arm into a sandal, starring out like a damn cute pirate, and paddling around with your soft, plump and fluffy body like a surfboard on carpet?
no hands acceleration Koenigsegg
So, the One:1 is an automatic? But it has paddle shifters. Darn confusing hyper-cars!
RSR RAW: Porsche 918 Hot Lap - Spa
It looked like it had paddle shifters, but he wasn't using them. Is it also an automatic?
At one point he was adjusting something on the center pad of the steering wheel. I wonder what that was.
Porsche Cayman S driver fail
Oh...I hadn't thought of that. Maybe so.
I drive a 45 year old Bronco, no flappy paddles there, so it didn't cross my mind.
One more reason to stick with old school tech! ;-)
Aren't most sports cars these days flappy paddles (i.e. no clutch)?

It wouldn't explain why he didn't simply hit the clutch and take it out of gear, would it?
He did drive the wheels off it. That's normally only said when you drive well!
Poland Came Up With This!
I used to do just this all the time as a kid. My friends and I would throw my inflatable raft into the pool and we'd battle it out, (or rather: 'paddle it out'? har!) tug of war style.
Surfing - Here's what it feels like to get caught inside.
Of all the activities I've tried, surfing is the one that just breaks me. I suck at it so much. I would love to be able to surf well, but I don't have the time to dedicate to it.
For me, the worst part of that is not the washing machine. Being mashed and held down is unpleasant, but I'm comfortable enough underwater that it doesn't really bother me.
But it's just so disheartening.
You expend all this energy paddling, and then you get thrown back again and again, and just when you think there's a gap... boom... rogue wave knocks you back again!
Then you finally get out the back and two things will happen:
first the sweetest wave ever comes through just as you're catching your breath and you either skip it from exhaustion or fail to catch it
and then.... nothing for ages. The epic swell that was pounding the crap out of you? Nowhere to be seen and the ocean is flat as.
damn ocean hates me

The point this guy is at is where I start paddling for the shore.
Griffon carves a life-sized Majora's Mask... with chainsaws
No, I would say you aren't wrong for normal operation, but carvers often sacrifice safety for tool functionality. Notice she still has the anti-kickback 'paddle' on the saw. It stops the chain 'instantly' (almost) if it's kicked back past your wrist's ability to bend. you'll still get a nasty cut, but won't cut your arm/head off.
Most chain saw carvers I've seen (lots around here, and on TV shows, especially ice carvers) actually remove that safety feature for better maneuverability on their small saws, it's nice to see one be relatively safe.
1:27 I was always told not to use the tip of the chainsaw like that (can kick back at you)
Am I wrong about that?
Still upvote for *skillful carving.
Surfer Switches Boards on a Huge Wave at Newport Beach
I'm guessing there was a reason behind him doing this(other then its somehow cool to switch boards). Seems to me(someone correct me if im wrong) that it's much easier to paddle into a big wave like this on a long board and much better to ride the wave with a short more maneuverable faster board.
Randomly Paired People Slap Each Other
Oh, who cares what the fuck you think...
Totally wanna slap Tatty-Cathy =Paddle that bottom and tug on that hair, WOOOOOF! RooooF! RAwwwwfffmph! (pants, wags tail, licks heels)
What do you mean you can't hit a woman in the face....they have faces don't they?!?
That said, if a woman wants to attack, all sexist bets are off for me. That doesn't mean one should knock out a woman that slapped them, but it does mean 'just taking it' seems silly to me.
Record Rainfall Allows Kayaker To Hit The Falls
welll that was a crappy song choice but now I want to paddle down a waterfall!
Record Rainfall Allows Kayaker To Hit The Falls
Wow, snapped that paddle good.
