Bale Out! RevoLucian's Christian Bale Remix
Ah, Technobium - one of the core elements of the Interweb.
When Technobium binds to a compound, it immediately converts that compound into a techno remix. This is most commonly found naturally occurring in celebrity audio samples, political blunders and open-mic gaffes.
Now, if only someone would remix the Cosby / ESPN mind melt. That'd be insane.
EDIT: Nevermind.
Rihana - Umbrella
>> ^deedub81:

My opinion of this song: Pop music has a place in the world and fulfills a certain demand. Although it might not be the most well written, most complex song ever, it is VERY catchy. The chorus is very good stylistically, but the lyrics are lacking.
Come to think of it, other than the chorus the rest of the song is basically worthless.
My roommate and I got quite a few laughs when I performed this acoustically while he improvised an interpretive tap dance at an open mic.
Get a recording of that on the Sift!

Weather Report (with Jaco) on Midnight Special - Teen Town
Excellent stuff. Early WP was awesome. Jaco's nephew was hanging out in this town a few years back and was playing bass in some of the local "open mic" nights with some friends. After seeing him play, I had no reason to think he wasn't legit. Excellent bass player for such a young guy. Styled very much like Jaco.
Church and Winehouse-Beat It
Wait wait wait...this isn't open Mic karaoke night at the local pub? In any case, Kronos is right, being shit-faced makes this sound absolutely fabulous (great show, I might add). I can almost catch the tune she's grasping at...three sheets to the wind, mind you. "Tigg-tittly tum tiggy tum mc'fair", something "bout your face make my want to (blank) my hair"' then it goes into a diatribe, which makes me ralph at my own jokes, and say something horrible like "get the down's syndrome child off the stage!" Regardless of the revelance of my last quote, it should be applied to almost any public persona's appearance, regardless of mental capacity.
Travis covers Britney Spears, Hit Me Baby One More Time
My friend used to cover this all the time at open mic when we were in high school. It was a great way to get peoples attention in a crowded, noisy bar.
Beau Sia - Def Poetry Jam - All those things and more...
wow. that was a good one choggie. you should be on def comedy jam
... or, you-know, open mic night at the local coffee place. whatever's closers.
Bush looks foolish in Germany
I don't know if anyone else noticed, but it seemed it was more like he was pissed off at something Merkel might have said off-camera before hand. Too bad there wasn't any more open mics around...
