Oh no!
Already slow Tesla truck production is halted for multiple horrific issues like the trunk being a finger guillotine, the gas pedal cover detaching and sticking the pedal at full throttle, and a car wash voiding your warranty because apparently water kills the truck in multiple ways. Not good advertising for a “truck” that’s getting panned in reviews.

Oh no! Trump has filed a motion 25 days after judgement asking for a stay of execution because he doesn’t have the $83 million for Carrol, actually asking to be allowed to appeal without posting bond…due in 10 days +- or she can start seizing and selling his properties. It will be rejected, she’s going to get a building or two (remember, Trump said everyone is leaving NY, it’s a total shit show there just so crime ridden and businesses leaving in droves so the value of his properties there is near nothing, she might need three! 😂).
Only a few weeks later his >$460 million judgement to NY comes due. If he doesn’t have $83 million (and can’t get a bond because his assets are forfeited) where do you think he’ll get $460 million +? The Saudis? MAGA? Not daddy Putin, he’s broke. Rest assured the source of his bond, if he can get one, will be publicized and when it turns out to be a foreign nation he will have to register as a foreign agent.

PS- Mr “nobody can ramble like this” killed CPAC. 😂

This is you guy, this you’re pick?

OH SNAP! Chesebro was caught with a secret Twitter account he used to promote the fake elector strategy far more aggressively than he has admitted previously, it has back and forth text conversations and recordings explaining the scheme, clear that it wasn’t about Trump having won but about falsely calling Biden’s victory into question and having Republican legislatures overturn the election and install Trump despite his election loss. He specifically told investigators he had no such accounts…his plea deal likely just evaporated and he’s going away for decades…unless he makes a deal to be a fully cooperative witness. UH-OH! Wanna bet he ends up just like Epstein, the last Trump guy facing the rest of his life in prison who knows where the bodies are buried and is about to spill Trump’s dirty beans?

Oops. “I can fake being smart” Habba forgot to appeal the loss of his presidential immunity in civil cases by Feb 15. When asked about “Blasingame” she didn’t know what it was (it’s the case that stripped her client, Trump, of immunity in December!).
If he doesn’t have civil immunity, he definitely doesn’t have criminal immunity.
There is no appealing missing the deadline. He just lost any case for his immunity, onward to trials!

https://nypost.com/2024/02/19/us-news/trump-open-to-jan-6-suits-after-missing-scotus-appeal-deadline/#

This means the civil suits about Jan 6 by representatives and police can proceed too.
Thanks Habba. Worst attorney in America! Congratulations on being #1!

Oh no! One of the main pieces of evidence used by the special prosecutor to prove Hunter was on drugs when he bought a gun, claimed to be a photo of cocaine Hunter sent to his doctor but was in fact a photo of sawdust put in lines by a carpenter who used work to overcome addiction, with text suggesting Hunter might as well. One more time the special prosecutor is caught misrepresenting evidence to impugn Hunter. There are many. He’s going to own them when he sues for misconduct. Another MAGA witch hunt falls apart with no witches, just little girls accusing their rivals. 😂

School Board cuts off parent

moonsammy says...

Oh no! WORDS! These children are too fucking weak to possibly stand up to the mind-twisting power of WORDS! PUT THEM ALL IN A PADDED ROOM UNTIL THEY CAN GO TO WAR! NERF THE WORLD!

Meanwhile, active shooter drills. Meanwhile, parents buying basic classroom supplies so the teachers don't have to cover them with their meagre salaries. Meanwhile, schools share a single nurse between them, while having no funding for mental health specialists.

Liberals tend to focus on issues that actually impact kids. Conservatives seem obsessed with policing morality, while ignoring actual harms being done. I don't much care if my kid reads a book that has some sex in it. I do care a LOT if their classmates are being passed through the system without actual basic skills competency, because the school lacks the budget for remedial classes and tutors.

America's economy- failing

newtboy says...

Oh no….is a red hurricane coming?
We still haven’t recovered from the red tsunamis in 2020 and 2022….say it ain’t so!

Republicans have already FAILED to raise the ceiling on time and are now playing chicken with the economy while also wrestling over who gets to drive the party…and not one has any idea of where you want to go yet or even how to drive (there’s absolutely no plan for what they want, just “spending cuts” which they think is SECRET code for “end social security and Medicare”)

Republicans printed 1/4 of every dollar circulating today under Trump out of thin air…actually worse, printed money as the economy was contracting as never seen before. Make more dollars without something of value to back them/you make each dollar worth less. Simple enough for even you to grasp….that’s called inflation.

Republicans totally failed at anything related to the pandemic, public health, economic, transportation, shortages, fighting against gouging, by every measure an “F-“.
Republicans pumped money in through their unregulated PPP loans and other unregulated easily defrauded programs they then defrauded by making up fake companies, taking millions, getting repayment amnesty, and buying Lamborghinis and mansions with the cash in many cases. MTG took huge sums she didn’t repay for one, then bemoaned student debt amnesty as a giveaway.

Rep(uglicans) ARE the fault of this mess as you so elegantly put it.

Oh no! Donny is so pissed at his humiliating defeats that he’s already saying if anyone runs against his losing candidacy he will sabotage the Republicans by releasing tons of secrets he knows about them.
He’s blackmailing your party to stay relevant, and is more than willing to take it down with him.
Enjoy.

P.S. turns out Trump is also being investigated for taking many of the official “gifts” he was given by other nations, thinking they were given to HIM, not the presidency. Of course, the law is absolutely clear about that, it’s true he may keep anything they gave him, but if it’s valued over $415 he must pay the entire value of the gift to the fed. Guaranteed he didn’t pay for any of the truckloads of gifts he stole. That’s going to be criminal theft/grand larceny of government property. Like he needs more problems.

Judge Locks Up Parkland Shooter for Life, Throws Away Key

newtboy says...

Oh no!!!

If you haven’t noticed, I’m not Bob. I decide my positions on my own, and while I’m socially liberal, that doesn’t mean I agree with the “liberal” positions at all times. I’m not insulted at my position being called “conservative”….I’m not tribalistic that way.

EG-I’m pro gun….but very pro regulation.

I’m actually a fiscal conservative, but unlike the right I know that doesn’t really mean the government should only pay for the military and nothing more. I agree with any spending that saves billions or trillions overall, even when it means some people get a free ride.
I think police are a good idea, although I believe they need serious reforms because they have lost their mission completely.
I think public roads are a good thing, as are public water and power systems.
I think national health care is a no brainer that works well in almost every country and saves trillions per year.
I think a safety net is a good idea...give people something to lose so they don’t turn to crime because they have nothing to lose.

Edit: I’ve said most of my adult life that I would be a Republican if only they would. Today’s Con has no resemblance to the Republican party I thought I grew up with (my entire family was hard core R).
Fiscal sanity, gone. Caring about the environment, gone. Supporting facts and science, gone. Supporting small government, gone (except with lip service). Strong and enforced gun regulations to protect gun ownership rights, gone. Strict supporters of law and order, not anymore. Government out of private life, so incredibly gone. Separation of church and state, gone. Fans of democracy, gone. Honesty, not even a memory.
I’m only a “blue liberal” by default. I might be libertarian if they weren’t crazed anti government extremists and almost MAGA.
Dems are the only ones left that really believe in democratic government.

I agree that 40 years+ without parole is cruel, but certainly not unusual or excessive. I never understand why excessively long prison sentences are considered less than the death penalty…I’m claustrophobic, to me it would be 40+ years of panic. I would give myself the death penalty fairly quickly because I’m not brave enough to face that. Swallow my tongue or bite it off, either works just fine and can’t be stopped. I’m really shocked that’s not the norm, but I’ve (clearly) never had to face it.

Careful @newtboy, you're sounding a bit like a conservative on this one from the Canadian POV.

A terrorist that shot 12 people in a mosque, killing 6 was sentenced under new Conservative law that allowed sentences like murder to be applied consecutively. More details in the link below, but our liberal dominated Supreme Court ruled the 40 years without a parole chance was "cruel and unusual".

So our gov. will be giving them a chance at parole in 2039.

Biden Approval WTF

newtboy says...

LMFAHS!!! I made 14% between June-August. How about you? 😂
That’s double what I made 2016-2020 in 2 months!! My pocketbook is comparatively bursting…is that what you mean?

Your tantrums, nonsensical complaints, and snowflake tears really brighten my day, thanks.

Remember, Trump had -3.5% gdp his last year, the worst gdp drop in American history, millions unemployed, tens of thousands of businesses shutdown permanently, supply chains completely broken, shelves bare, and what, almost $9 trillion deficit spending in his last year? (Don’t forget 1 million dead Americans)

What idiot fuckwit would ever vote for that frail old delusional convicted conman and traitor? He stole nuclear secrets.

Edit: looks like Biden is likely to put $10k in the pocketbooks of Americans making under $125k with student loan debt….more destruction, oh no!

Oh no! We Build The Wall founders plead guilty to stealing the donations you idiots gave them and Bannon to build Trump’s failed fence…a project they had no intention or capability of working on.
They admitted it was a charity scam from the start, and knew full well they were stealing, committing a crime, when they did it.

Remember Bannon was pardoned by Trump for this theft of nearly 25 million altogether.

CNN Confronts Biden Advisor on Ukraine

newtboy says...

Oh no @bobknight33….Joe’s leadership in NATO, which Trump wanted us out of and wanted destroyed as capitulation to Putin, is surprising the Russians and giving the Russians serious pause.

Lavrov conceded NATOs unity, advising Putin that at this past weekend’s Munich security conference “every western representative declared their absolute commitment to a unified approach,” which “confirmed that we need to negotiate with Washington.”

This unity was created by Joe, who’s spent days/weeks/months cajoling members into that unified front. When did Russia ever negotiate with Trump? A: never, he never made them negotiate, he simply gave in to every wish and ignored every crime.

Oh no!
Good….Trump (likely) only has $93 million in liquid assets….1% of the 10 billion he’s claimed. None of his properties have shown a profit in at least two years, and they all are essentially owned by the banks that loaned him the money to buy them.
Better….he has $750 million in loan debts due in the next few years.
Best…. he also has between $100-$300 million in back taxes to pay or go to prison.

Sounds like Daddy Trump is going to be sleeping on your couch soon, he already spent all your political donations on defending his own criminal cases, and they’re all still moving forward. His lawyers are making arguments first year law students would laugh at, not actual defenses….and have bled both his and the RNCs coffers dry.
D’oh! Bad year to be a Trumpster.

It could be a crime….if that had happened. It didn’t.

No legitimate evidence of fraud has ever been presented except a few cases of Republicans voting twice or more. (Lots of debunked illegitimate claims, lots of wasted money and man hours investigating and debunking them, but nothing more)
With no evidence of fraud and mountains of evidence of legitimacy, the secretary deliberately and knowingly certified a legitimate result.
Since the election wasn’t fraudulent or “false”, not certifying the legitimate results would be a crime. That is the crime Trump is soliciting….again. Asking an election official to “find him” thousands of votes, especially as president but even as a private citizen, is a crime….a felony if reports are correct.

Trump does not have that right, nor does he have the right to pressure a Secretary of State to “find” him thousands of votes to rig the election….not as president, not as a private citizen. That is a crime….one he just committed again, this time in writing. You just have no clue what you’re talking about, as usual. Election interference like this IS a crime, one he’s currently under investigation for. Derp. (Repeating myself in hopes it will sink in)

Also, there’s no such thing as decertification…once it’s certified, it’s done, no matter what Hannity and Trump tell you….hint, they aren’t constitutional scholars, they’ve likely never read it. Remember, Trump was elected because he didn’t know how the government works (so ostensibly would “fix” it).

More Mega? Bwaaahahahaha! Please don’t throw me in that briar patch, Br’er Bear. After the last time, you really want to try Mega again!?! Please, put Trump up as the Republican candidate….he won’t get 30% of the vote and will drive billions of dollars into Democrat coffers, and you’ll lose many senate and house seats to boot (and likely have more representatives #walkaway from the Republican Party). Oh no!!!!

bobknight33 said:

Fraud in the election and deliberate knowingly certify this false election could be a crime.

Trump has the right to to ask for decertification due to current facts at hand. That is not a crime. If it can be done I do not think so.
