Your typical Pennsylvania-born Anglo-Saxon American also has his/her own cheat system to avoid paying heavy taxes, as all would other ethnic groups have their own ways to solve their problems with the US government.

I've witnessed first hand how various people cheat the system. I roommated with several different ethnicities throughout my years living in NYC. Russians, Taiwaneses, Ecuadorians, etc. And seemed to me that each ethnicity had a different issue to be dealt with the US government, and thus each ethnic groups had a unique cheat system of their own.

From my Taiwanese roommate, I learned that you can manage to stay in the US past your visa renewal limit by constantly enrolling yourself to a language school or any school of sort. As long as you prove that you are a student, you will get a student visa for at least 2 years each time you enroll to a new school, but never actually graduate from any of them.

From few of the black customers I had back when I was working at a gym, I've learned that you can pay much cheaper insurance rate if your car is registered outside of New York State, preferably Florida. You'd contact one of your family members there and claim that you've lived in Miami for 1 year, forward the address to your relative's house, and register the car.

From a Malaysian girl I used to hit on, I learned that you receive free tuition plus government grants if you qualify as an independent on your tax form. All you have to do is prove that you've lived outside of your parent's house (but still within New York) and don't receive additional financial assistance for at least 1 year. She got the free government grants by changing her mailing address to her uncle's house, while never moving out from her parents house, no rent and all.

The list goes on and on and on.

Mashiki, what metrics are you using to measure racism? I think your saying one group or another is most racist based on nothing but your feelings and anecdotes is ridiculous. What tangible, measurable results were there from blacks hating blacker people, for example? That's how I determine who is the most racist.

And in the US, whites are able to and do enforce their bigoted sentiment on other groups quite often and quite easily. Look at redlining, the criminal justice system, job discrimination, hate violence, etc. How have american blacks oppressed american whites? Sure, you can dig and find a some very rare cases of individuals doing this, but show me where the average american white man gets the bum deal that the average Zimbabwean white man would get from their black (or latino, or asian) countrymen.

It's not a perfect world for american whites by any means, but I don't know any american white crazy enough to trade places with an american black. Maybe you do, since you think minorities get a "free ride". It-is-to-laugh.

As I said pp, racism is a matter of perspective. The countries I cited are making demonstrable efforts to be egalitarian with respect to ethnicity, just like we in the US are. In Singapore, a chinese was jailed for posting a racist anti-malay website; if america had the same standards, how many would be jailed? In Malaysia, several ethnic and religious groups take part in the government; while Americans have only recently seen their first muslim congressman. South Africa has shown great restraint to the white population there in light of the history of apartheid. Kenya is actively making strides and overtures to its Muslim population and for reconciliation of its various tribal groups; even african whites fled there from Zimbabwe. And finally, like it or not, in 20 years blacks will dominate brasil; the demographic math there is more pronounced than for arabs in Israel. Even now brasilian blacks are fighting discrimination and making measurable gains.

All of these examples still don't help your flimsy racial theory that puts whites as the most angelic beings in the universe. A Singaporean chinese will say the same. A Kenyan black will say the same. A Malay Malaysian will say the same. Any number of ethnic people who dominate their respective countries sing the same tune. Hell, even the arabs in this video would say the same.

But, only a cursory glance at (even recent) history would show that is simply not the case for any of these groups.

Yeah the Japanese eat it, but that doesn't mean the American versions are any good. Tell an Italian Chef to make a sushi and it would be the same result.

If you want an authentic traditional Japanese meal you would either have to go all the way to Japan or goto one of those high end Japanese restaurants near Columbus circle or midtown in NYC.

Because any other 'Japanese sushi bars' they've got here are run by either Taiwanese, Koreans or Malaysians. And they don't know what they're doing... I mean sure it's still better than something that I made myself but shit, bad is bad.





A good example would be this video right here. PERSONALLY, I wouldn't eat the roll made in this video. Looks disgusting. Alton may be following the exact recipe from a great Sushi chef or something. But the problem with that method is that even if things go wrong, you wouldn't know the difference.

Wayyyy too much rice on the nori. and they've been cooked all the way, which isn't the right kind of rice for making sushi. Oh and Nori itself is too firm. Has to be crispier and drier than that otherwise it's too tough and won't fall apart even when chewed. As soon as you bite down on that roll the whole nori piece will stick to the roof of your mouth.

A lot of people use unseasoned unroasted Nori, which is much tougher than roasted Nori. That's why moms usually purchase regular Nori and roast it themselves to get the right consistency. Plus, you won't have to worry about nori getting too crispy because all you have to do is put some water/rice vinegar on it and it gets tough again (Korean version uses sesame oil)
