Bryan Cranston Guarantees Kid Date To Prom
How things change. I threatened girls over and over again to get them to go to the prom with me and it never worked. I did get "Most Likely to Commit Violent Homicide" in the yearbook though. So Win?
*Disturbing* Police Shooting (killing) Of Albaquerque Man
"When asked if the shooting was justified, Police Chief Gordon Eden said, “Do I believe it was justified shooting? Yes, if you follow case law, ‘Garner versus Tennessee’, there was directed threat to an officer.” Eden’s reference was an attempt to justify the shooting of Mr. Boyd as he walked away. In Tennessee v. Garner, police shot a fleeing 15-year-old in the back of the head as he tried to climb a fence. The Supreme Court ruled that it was reasonable to kill suspects as they try to escape, even if unarmed, if the officers have a probable cause to believe that the suspect poses a significant threat of death or serious physical injury to the officer or others.
Whether that case law is relevant to the killing of James Boyd remains to be seen. But the department stands by the homicide. Chief Eden also pointed out that “less than lethal devices” had been used, as if to justify the use of deadly force."

Why are we still using the conventional reactors around the world instead of another application?
ANSWER: Military Industrial Complex can't stockpile weapon-grade plutonium using saner means like saaaay, thorium.Thorium-based nuclear power reactors are not in use because they don't serve the purpose of the planet-destroyers.
The current lame duck president and most-likely the next will back construction of more shit plants, as well as tout these conventional types of reactors for the use in "greening" up the planet.
People need to educate themselves perhaps, then demand that the cunts of the world move somewhere off-planet within the next ten years.
Solution? A few suggestions:
Space Catapult
Eradicate the power-hungry and their bloodlines
Legalize Homicide of Politicians/Mafiosi/Organized crime of any kind
No more blue-fin tuna for me...
Honest Trailers - Gravity
Don't worry I totally agree. They tried a bunch of stuff cliche symbolism, character growth, but it didn't really mesh up with the plot of the movie. She was suicidal, but finds the will to go on through a space hallucination/talking with some rando Korean (dafuq)? What I gathered from the movie is that we shouldn't try and explore space since "gravity" will pull us back. We should just stay down on earth (since that's what Sandra Bullock spends the entire movie trying to get back to). But then they had George Clooney ask Sandra Bullock to enjoy the scenery, which she never does, which is a confusing message. I guess he was trying to say all the beauty we know is on Earth. This movie tried so so hard to be a "classic" space movie that dove into humanity, blah blah blah, bs bs bs. If anything this is a very anti space exploration movie.
Compare that to the rich symbolism of 2001: A Space Odyssey. Which juxtaposes the beginnings of humanity with where it is now, and asks what is the limit of humanity? Are we confined to Earth? It was really a movie of rebirth and redefining what humanity is and what we're capable of. Also the main character was a bad ass. Not only did he out smart the homicidal computer (which killed everyone except him). He continued his mission!
2001 and Gravity couldn't be more different.
I think they were extremely kind to this movie. Outside of the visual aspect of the movie it was pretty much shit (acting,story,dialogue...). Of course I'm one of the very few that has this opinion. Maybe i'm just getting old and grumpy. GET OFF MY LAWN!
Oakland CA Is So Scary Even Cops Want Nothing To Do With It
This is Democrat failure of epic proportion.
From Wikipedia:
Politics
"Oakland was politically conservative from the 1860s to the 1950s, led by the Republican-oriented Oakland Tribune newspaper. In the 1950s and '60s, the majority stance shifted to favor liberal policies and the Democratic Party.[156][157] Oakland has by far the highest percentage of registered Democrats of any of the incorporated cities in Alameda County. As of 2009, Oakland has 204,646 registered voters, and 140,858 (68.8%) are registered Democrats, 12,248 (5.9%) are registered Republicans, and 41,109 (20.1%) decline to state a political affiliation.[158] Oakland is widely regarded as being one of the most liberal major cities in the nation.
The Cook Partisan Voting Index of Congressional District 13, which includes Oakland and Berkeley, is D+37; among the six most extremely Democratic congressional districts in the US."
Crime:
Oakland's crime rate began to escalate during the late 1960s, and by the end of the 1970s Oakland's per capita murder rate had risen to twice that of its neighbor city, San Francisco, or that of New York City.[125]
During the first decade of the 21st century Oakland has consistently been listed as one of the most dangerous large cities in the United States.[126] Until 2010 the homicide rate dropped four times in a row, and violent crime in general had dropped 27%.
Violent crime in general, and homicides in particular, increased during 2011.[127] In 2012 Oakland reported 131 homicides, the highest since 2006 (when there were 148 recorded).[128][129]"
I know one thing...you can't blame this on conservatives.
Bernie Sanders tears into Walmart for corporate welfare
For enoch-Uhhh, at the end of the day, who are we to judge, period? My gentle chiding of Sagemind was more was more of an atomic bomb indictment of his take on 'reality' ( a personal construct ), the loaded use of language to parrot a framework for a way of thinking whereby so-called intelligent peeps give power away rather than embracing it, and my own coluratura-filled vitriolic on the overall tone and timbre easily recognized by anyone who doesn't think too hard about how they are being ass-fucked daily by shit-think.
Your own reductio ad absurdum with the dick-sucking options available to hard-working individuals well, I can appreciate your coming to the defense of a wayward soul but....Maybe the smarter and more fastidious folks in the herd should get more creative with such actions suggested later like tax fraud or even homicide if they want to see some tangible changes to digression of systems they so fervently defend.
Poorly Attempted Hit And Run Goes From Bad To Worse
Luckily the kid was only prepared for GTA and not vehicular homicide.
I say fail to the tard who stands in front of one of the most lethal weapons in human history...
George Carlin "I Gave Up On My Species"
We can afford to be the way we are because we exploited (still do) the fuck out of third world nations. Exploited = people's lives and suffering. At best we can all claim ignorance for our economic drunk driving homicide but the point is moot.
The greater point is; put us through a real recession and see where this humanity lies. No, not this fake crap we went through to enrich the rich with unemployment and trading. I mean where people can't buy food or gas. Where government programs don't exist. I mean where children are massively starving in the street.
I am highly disenchanted that this is the best we have come to because we can afford it. Some sorry shit we have created with billions in abundance. I believe in Marx's ideas of capitalism exploitation (Though hold no faith in his communist beliefs,) Webber's views on logical thoughts for the dollar and how it will fuck us over, and Carlin's views on how shitty we are--at our greatest pinnacle.
I love Carlin and I love his insight and comedy, but I don't take him that seriously.
By that I mean that I take his comments as a challenge. Not a challenge to debate him on facts - yes all sorts of people have made all kinds of bad decisions. Politicians, corporations, individuals, gangs, clubs, schools, you, me, your friends and my friends have all made all sorts of bad hypocritical immoral backwards ass actions that have maimed, destroyed, burned, polluted, hurt, deprived and desecrated.
Yet I am not willing to give into the cynicism and contempt some fellow sifters do about the world and people around me. I can't look at any of the above and say any are perfect or that any are evil.
I believe that Steve Pinker is right - while we are still violent we are statistically less violent.
I look at what Bill Gates is doing.
I look at the "toys" we have, and the art we are making.
I watch two young guys go give waitresses $200 tips.
Maybe what is circling the drain is all that SHIT we do. All that bad stuff making a slow, but eventual, exit.
Why Violent Video Games Don't Cause Violence | Today's Topic
Be damn the violence, future serial killers of America unite, be it Doom or Civilization, GTA or Mario Cart, what of the retarded social and motor skills created in 2 generations of peepatrons? I have noticed a direct correlation between lack of Vitamin D in the form of limited exposure to sunlight and Cheetos-stained crisp finger, as well as a general lack of interest in the vagina or practical skills and video-gaming, so please, "let them legalize homicide and debut this thrilling and encouraging youth-sensation, our hope-for-the-future, an exciting new video first-person-atrophizer and herding platform, Couch-Killers"!!
Woman thinks all postal workers are after her
Since when is "crazy" or "insane" a dirty, mean word you can not use for mentally ill people? She is clearly not ok in the head, her behaviour meets the exact definition of "crazy" and "insane". It's not like she has a severe case of depression, then it would be inappropriate, she is cleary delusional.
However, I certainly don't like the idea represented here that she might become a homicidal maniac, that she's a ticking timebomb that needs defusing. She may be scary but that doesn't mean she's automatically dangerous. I'd rather worry about all the drunk people with car keys in their pockets.
What this lady needs is help by professionals and not simply be thrown in an institution. She isn't a broken toy that you store in the attic, she needs treatment and certainly medication. Dragging her out of her house and throwing her in a padded cell won't make her paranoia better.
I do feel like the video combined with the words insane and crazy, which were used in the title and description to describe this mentally ill women, defiantly gives more of a pointing and laughing feel then anything to do with empathy, compassion or understanding for this women. I don't necessarily agree with chings strong opinion but I can see where hes coming from.
Why People Should Be Outraged at Zimmerman's 'Not Guilty'
That's a more reasonable statement. It was fairly close though, and not true for every year.
The corresponding figures for Australia make an interesting comparison:
All deaths:
http://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/abs@.nsf/Lookup/3303.0Chapter42011
Homicides (doesn't have the detail of the U.S. equivalent):
http://www.aic.gov.au/statistics/homicide.html
I did look at the Canadian statistics too, but they were all expressed in terms of incidents per 100,000 people so it was a bit hard to compare... the nearest I found was this rather old report directly comparing Canada to its Southern neighbour:
http://www.statcan.gc.ca/daily-quotidien/011218/dq011218b-eng.htm
..
SO it seems that there are more killings with hands and feet than with all shotguns and (dreaded ar 15) rifles total.
Why People Should Be Outraged at Zimmerman's 'Not Guilty'
found this too:
In the last decade (since 2000) the homicide rate declined to levels last seen in the mid-1960s.
Based on data from 1980 and 2008, males represented 77% of homicide victims and nearly 90% of offenders. The victimization rate for males (11.6 per 100,000) was 3 times higher than the rate for females (3.4 per 100,000). The offending rate for males (15.1 per 100,000) was almost 9 times higher than the rate for females (1.7 per 100,000).
The average age of both offenders and victims increased slightly in recent years, yet remained lower than they were prior to the late 1980s.
Not neccesarally relevent but it's interesting that the overall crime rate is down. (In Canada too) But the US has sold more that 12 million guns since Newtown.
soooooo not sure what it all means.... First sentence is a key one though
and this:
The FBI has released their 2007-2011 “Murder Victims by Weapon” report. The results are contradictory to anti-gun industry claims that relaxing the ban on assault weapons will cause more crime.
The report indicates you are more likely to be killed by hands or feet than by a rifle or shotgun.
Since 2007 there has been a 16.2% decline in murders committed with personal weapons which are defined as “hands, fists, feet etc.” The number of murders of this type in 2011 totaled 728.
While gun ownership has dramatically increased since 2007, murders for both the shotgun and rifle categories have seen declines faster than the rate of personal weapons related crime.
The rates of decline for the shotgun and rifle categories are 22.1% and 28.7% respectively. In 2011 there were 356 shotgun murders and 323 rifle murders for a total of 679 murders.
Total murders by hands and feet in 2011 exceed the total number of murders by shotgun and rifle. Does that mean gloves and shoes need regulation because they are concealing deadly weapons? No, but it does mean that there is no need for any further regulation of long arms.

NOT saying this last is a great source but hey it's there.
SO it seems that there are more killings with hands and feet than with all shotguns and (dreaded ar 15) rifles total.
Looking at U.S. 2010 mortality data, http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/dvs/deaths_2010_release.pdf
accidents 120,859 (35,332 were motor vehicle accidents)
firearms 31,672 (11,078 were assault by firearms)
alcohol 25,692
assault not including firearms 5181
I would expect knives to feature higher than hands and feet, where did you get your figures?
Why People Should Be Outraged at Zimmerman's 'Not Guilty'
You got me. Didn't look at all the data.
Firearms and knives beat out hands and feet.
This is just a cursory look I will delve deeper and see what appears.

Best News Bloopers - May 2013
So @ 1:06, why did the guy who used the term, "negro leagues in baseball" get the shitty look from the cut-to dingleberry? That's what they were called.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Negro_league_baseball
The media has been throwing "racism" around so much it's got everyone afraid to open their fucking mouths regarding race at ALL....pathetic.
The crap media and their fucking newspeak...Can we legalize homicide please??
Preaching Against Obamanation
I propose a type of reverse abortion law that legalizes the elimination of born, developed and realized fetuses who already have legacies of inconveniencing or otherwise complicating a couple's lives. We could start with bankers and lawyers, politicians and CEO's-Give the unborn a fighting-chance and all.....Legalize Homicide!
