Road Rager Shoots At Other Driver 11 Times

ROTFLMFAHS!!!!! No.

That would be blaming other countries policies on Trump. How stupid of you.

Hilarious that, even when highlighted and headed with “Newtboy jokingly says” you don’t understand a joke when one slaps your face with a cream pie! What was that you claimed about being well above average IQ and a college graduate?! You certainly don’t act like it….was there a major head injury or stroke since then?

Hero Defends a Defenseless Blind Kid

lucky760 says...

Not. at. all. It doesn't concern me even a little.

The hero delivered a single punch to stop him, and if that blow was to result in brain damage, it's the bully's own fault. The direct, hard punches he was delivering into the blind kid's head could have caused brain damage, so if he suffered that fate instead as necessary to stop his brutal assault, too bad.

(I kind of even hope he suffered a head injury. It's more deserved than just a single punch for what he was doing. And if that was *my* kid he was brutalizing, his fate would be much worse.)

Gilsun said:

Anyone else slightly concerned that the "bully" seems to sustain a decent head injury? Not because of the blood, but look at how he moves his hands after he hits the concrete. That to me looks like a brain trying to sort itself out. I 100% support the "hero" stepping in, but meeting violence with violence like this only puts more people at risk. Hitting your head on concrete can easily be fatal.. imagine if he died... Hero wouldnt be so cool then hey.

Looks fun, but that's a head injury waiting to happen. I just picture something catching a wheel, and that little head slamming into the concrete.

My mother-in-law was involved in a serious car crash in which the results of her head injury is an occasional shaking of her hands. Sometimes it is minor, sometimes it impedes her ability to eat.

I am getting her this for Christmas. This is awesome.

Skater punched by kid's mom

harlequinn says...

Unconsciousness is the best indicator of head injury severity (for non-external bleeding wounds). He didn't go unconscious which means he didn't get hurt that badly. I'm guessing he didn't even receive a contusion.

At the 0:05 second mark he hits the ground and it looks to me like his head does not hit the ground until he relaxes it back and then he rolls sideways. But, given the bad angle, low resolution, and distance from the child, none of us can tell one way or another exactly how hard his head hit the ground. We're all just speculating that part.

I've treated lots of people with serious head wounds - mushed skull, subdural bleeding, etc. Not bleeding (either internal or external) is exactly what you do want.

And I know you're probably not a doctor, but a head injury that doesn't bleed is exactly the kind you don't want.

Wow, I hate to even justify your ramblings with a response but I want to make something clear:

I am not advocating violence or trying to justify her action. I never said that lady was in the right for hitting the guy, only that it's not such a crazy reaction to expect. Nor would hitting her back be so crazy... if the guy didn't just run over her child. Sure he might be legally justified but he'd also be a dickhead.

I don't know what video you were watching but the kid's head clearly hit the ground in the one I saw. And I know you're probably not a doctor, but a head injury that doesn't bleed is exactly the kind you don't want.

As for your making the issue about race and sex, I'm not even sure where you're coming from. I'd be really interested to know how you determined this man's race from a grainy youtube video. And for that matter, as a white male, I'd be interested to know why you even think it's important at all.

I'd also be interested to know how you came up with the crazy idea that skateboarding into a toddler who's running around in a park is partly the toddler's fault. And again with the "unwatched toddler" bullshit. Lucky put it pretty eloquently above.

Oh, and while we're on the subject: you might be surprised to know that in many places in the US, if someone assaults you, even if they sucker-punch you, and you escalate the situation by bringing in a weapon, you can get in just as much, if not more trouble than your assailant. I know a lot of people like to believe otherwise but you'd probably be surprised at the amount of people who get in trouble for that.

I'm sorry, man...I just don't get what you're trying to say. It looks like you're trying to shoe-horn an agenda — albeit an honorable one — on a video about poor sportsmanship.

Maybe we should be made more aware of the reality of kids' concussions. I would have to do more research though because that NPR article has NO information as to where the "estimated" number comes from. I hate to be that guy, but honestly, that guy is why we know that the earth is a sphere and it travels around the sun...you can't just believe everything you read.

Assuming that it's close to correct...or even if the actual number is 25% of all pre-college football players have experienced concussions, then I would agree that something should be done to fix it. But, like I said, this isn't a video about kids getting concussions, nor is it a video about bounty-gate. The fact of the matter is that those things are bad — hence why people have been fired/suspended. Despite the physical nature of the sport, the intent to maliciously hurt somebody is frowned-upon by a majority of the NFL. There is a big difference between seeing a good solid hit between the numbers, wrapping up the player, and taking him to the ground, and taking out his knee cap. I don't see what's hard to understand about that.

You're inventing a narrative of what I've said that isn't consistent with reality.
I never said I didn't like football.
I never said I no one should play it.
I never said everyone had to adopt my point of view.
I never said kids are playing football against their will.
I did say that the certainty of concussions is reason enough not to play.
I did cite statistics about concussions that happen to adolescents PRE-college
"of the nearly 5 million adolescents playing football below the college level, it's estimated that half have sustained concussions, a third of them on multiple occasions"
From: http://www.npr.org/2012/05/09/152250525/mind-games-football-and-h
ead-injuries

Stop being a pussy and let that virulent feeling of bloodlust wash over you when those players go down. As you said, they're paid as much as they are because they know the risks involved. If that's the case, this should be celebrated as part of the game, no?
I'm arguing for safety, but I'm a pussy. And you're arguing for the game, but dont want players to get hurt. I'm sure the Saints bounty scandal was limited to that team and nothing like that happens anywhere else. Oh wait... http://www.myfoxny.com/story/19667323/calif-kids-footbal

Cheer for the injuries that are part of this culture or call for better safety, I say.

So? Climbing trees is the result of broken arms and legs...what the fuck do you want? Stop pussifying this country. Very rarely are kids playing football against their will. Especially at the level where concussions are happening (high school and up). Stop trying to force the world to adopt your views on everything. You don't like football so NOBODY SHOULD PLAY IT? What the fuck kind of view is that? You might as well be a Christian telling me that we should be teaching creationism in school. Different points, same obnoxious tenacity and narrow point of view.>> ^JiggaJonson:

I stand by my original comment, and the risk is more than likely, it's a near certainty. You're supporting a game that is the sole cause of roughly 2.5 million concussions diagnosed in adolescents each year. Roughly 1.5 million of those kids will sustain multiple concussions.
There's also Kurt Warner's telling NBC that his son's playing football is a thought that "scares [him]" But hey, I guess you'd probably expect that from someone who feels as though "Playing through concussions is part of the game."
I feel like a decent human being would try to stop them from putting themselves in harms way, not hoping they don't get hurt when they play with fire.
From my point of view, you're the one cheering on the cock-fight. I'm just happy to see one of them go down because it refocuses the issue of the dangers in the sport for meatheads like our video's Eric Winston. Sure, he cares now, but I can just as easily see him saying "One more play! You gotta play through head injuries like that!" ala Kurt Warner's insider info on the culture of the game.
That said, I doubt the crowd was thinking this far into it. They were probably just bloodthirsty.
Finally, Quote where I imply that risk = celebrating human suffering, from my comments.
