Brings back the memories! And they weren't all pleasant! The transformations being a little freaky.

Still it's amazing how people are at least willing to try shows like this in the U.S. I've given up hope of seeing anything innovative from the BBC.

No kidding.. I only learned last year that the caterpillar is completely disolved before a butterfly emerges. It literally melts down and becomes a different creature.

The first sci-fi series I watched continuously! It was showing on Norway's second government-run television channel, which had just been introduced and had really bad reception in our area. My parents didn't really approve of me watching such a freaky show, so I watched it in half secrecy in my attic bedroom on a 14-inch "portable" color TV older than myself. I had to constantly twiddle the antenna and the analog reception control to get a picture at all, and even then it would often revert to black and white because of the bad signal. I was completely fascinated, and the brain-eating slugs scarred me for life.

I feel old now.

I love dreaming, especially lucid dreaming (something I have done quite often). The only thing I still find really freaky is the "falling" phenomenon you experience when your body falls into rem atonia while you are still conscious. That and having "wake up" dreams (you know, the ones in which you enact waking up, only to find something freakishly unreal about your surroundings).

Dreaming's awesome.

Man, I've had both the thing where you wake up but can't move, and where you're conscious in a dream. Both pretty freaky events.

No-one here is going to comment about the freaky doll-like look of the woman back in the studio? Anyone? No... everyone focused on the masturbation aid? Righto then.

Apparently it flew over a hill or large object that left only 100ft below while still in cloud. Freaky.
