I was originally going to say "fucking Kiwis" but I didn't want to piss off the guys in Flight of the Conchords. And apparently, Kiwis get mad when they think you mistake them for Aussies. Fucking Southern Hemisphere crackers.

Oh I agree whole heartedly. My new favorite show is Flight of the Conchords for just that reason, it's dry witty humor that stands well alone without much help.

But you know, this does show the effect the laugh track has - it makes things that are only marginally funny, funnier. I love when a show can genuinely live without a laugh track, like Arrested Development or the multitudes of animated shows.

That clip is a pretty good representation of the show in general (although you have to watch some earlier episodes to understand the tension between them and the Aussies). Very dry and random humor, with musical breaks!
