But seriously, I am married, and my wedding was a justice-of-the-peace affair with a couple friends as witnesses.
However, I've been forced to attend 2 weddings this year, both of the "second marriage" variety, and I've become very cynical of the entire ritual. "First marriage" weddings are bad enough (because most people have this unrealistic idea that the wedding is the hard part, and that the actual "being married" part will be easy in comparison), but being forced to pretend that we're celebrating some magical event, when everyone there recalls the failures of the previous attempt... it's just so much bullshit.

Actually I'm not a fan of marriage but I am a fan of weddings...actually, more like a fan of the receptions...actually the open bar.

I'm sorry, I don't know what's worse, the fact that the dress lights up, or that their dance was so obviously rehearsed. It's friggin ridiculous, and I'm upvoting this so hopefully and future husbands out there can see how stupid you will look if you let your bride to be choreograph your damn first dance as a married couple. I give that marriage 2 years tops before the dude dumps her for some fat chick in the trailer park who at least doesn't try to control every goddamn thing he does!
