i agree with Björk, but i also think there's more to it. it's like what is art? for instance compare a 10 minute monotonous computerized drumbeat to a beautifully crafted dynamic masterpiece of emotion. it's a question of taste, but i think to the human ear some music will have more emotive content, it's still subject to taste though...

1. Does your lead singer have more hair than female pop stars?


2. Does your lead singer whip his hair more than female pop stars?


3. Does the freaking music video start with the entire band rhythmically headbanging / hairwhipping to each drumbeat before the song even starts?


4. Is your lead singer actually wearing a t-shirt with the band's logo on it? No, seriously, I can't tell. Is he? That's messed up.


5. Is every other shot composed primarily of your guitarist's crotch?

I don't know which is worse-- the song, or the Lars Ulrich-inspired drumbeats layered over the top. Terrible on all fronts.

Not only does the man make the national anthem sound sexy as all hell, but he does it with a cheesy 1980's Casio keyboard drumbeat as his backup.
