Custard pie fight with Christopher Walken sounds promising

I just have to respond, since until recently I was a Starbucks barista (OK, so it got really stressful, and my boss left, and I just wasn't going to stay after that...)

But if you like hot chocolate, and have a sweet tooth, please try SB's signature hot chocolate, especially the one formerly known and 'salted caramel signature hot chocolate'. I don't really like their regular HC. It is too chocolaty and not sweet enough for me. The signature hot chocolate is 'European style' - which I don't get, but oh well.. It is a lot sweeter and creamier (a base that is made every day).

ANYWAY, what used to be the 'salted caramel signature hot chocolate' - which I am now calling SCHC has the signature hot chocolate PLUS toffee nut syrup (which I LOVE! So good on top of vanilla ice cream) and thry put caramel drizzle on top of the whipped cream. It used to have a sea salt topping but not any more. Sea salt topping sounds disgusting (maybe), but it was a mixture of hawaian smoked sea salt and cane sugar (or something like that) and it brought out the sweetness of the caramel. It was like having 'caramel pretzel Crunch' from Sheridan's Frozen Custard! (The only Sheridan's here closed But it was a micture of vanilla custard, which is super soft ice cream, pretzels and caramel, all mixed together.

Okies.. Just wanted to mention the caramel signature hot chocolate.. It costs a bit more than a regular hot chocolate, but it is soooo much better. You can also have that with espresso.. Ask for espresso truffle, and say you want the caramel version.. make sure they put Toffee nut syrup in it!

Beck is a clever contrivance. They've just over egged the custard with the Howard Beale thing. I'm sure even a lot of the demographic Fox target think he's a twat.

^I had it in Bangkok, and thought it was not that bad as well. Sort of like a fruit that is slightly past its prime, but not super bad. A similar consistency is a custard apple.

Oh, they would just busk in Byron, wouldn't they? If Bernard Fanning hadn't called Ben Lee a 'precocious c*nt', I wouldn't have much good to say about Powderfinger.

I've always made mine similarly, just never put it in the oven except to keep it warm. I can see where that would finish off the custard inside the bread.

Christmas is almost over. It's 8 PM. Boiled prawns while the kids swim. More champagne, more rum balls, rum custard and Christmas pudding. More champagne. Merry Christmas everyone - time to sleeppppppp.

I think a culture of "Violence is bad" would be a good thing. Not being facetious, I'm thinking in terms of philosophy and the ramifications of such (its not quite the same as pacifism, which i consider desirable, but not always the solution. I have a rage towards rapists etc.)

Violence has often been a part of comedy. In some forms it can be funny for many (How-Not-to-Be-Seen) but where it's less farcical/exaggerated and more slapstic/real (e.g. Bottom, best of) it feels different, and I actually never liked the comedy violence in bottom. Monty Pythons Holy Grail has a classic use of the absurd to make the fight with the Black Knight funny, but the staged Tom and Jerry violence of Bottom struck a very different tone. I think i actually saw them live once, and aside form being impressed by how real it looked, but wasn't; it just felt bad.

This feels worse. If I had my star yet, I'd down vote too.

Drink driving used to be considered socially acceptable, and only frowned on like a slap on the wrist, so people felt ok doing it, and did. Over time that attitude has changed in the UK, and for many drink driving is taboo (not completely, alas) and alcohol related injury statistics have improved (I checked http://www.statistics.gov.uk/ to confirm). If we can change peoples attitude to violence, taking it more seriously and negatively, (especially violence against women, and domestic violence, where i include violence against men too) then perhaps less of it would happen...

True comedy uses a lot more than just SURPRISE! *custard pie*, and this should be seen for what it is. Bad comedy plus a bad and serious act that should not be trivialized by this staged setting.
