Wild Cheetah climbs on safari van and stares down tourists!
Cheetahs are awesome. Humans have been taming them for thousands of years. They're very sociable and don't inherently see things our size/shape as "lunch."
Note that tame <> domesticate. Tame means "make safe and predictable," not "make into a pet." There are no house cheetahs. But there are lots of relatively safe cheetahs to be around. Look up Marlice van der Merwe.
This would make a hell of a safari story.

I imagine a cheetah in the wild could probably kick her butt speed-wise... you know... one which has to work for food.

Sarah The Cheetah Sets New World Record Of 61 MPH
And in today's news, the sports world is shocked with the admission by Sarah the Cheetah that she used the illegal drug FKP (Fast Kitteh Potion) during her record-breaking run.

A Review Of The Game : Crusader Kings 2
This was pretty much my experience playing the game. Throughout the game you'll be observing incremental changes of data, make small adjustments, and continue the simulation. This would have been great for a real life computer programmer who can sit long hours in front of the computer without much visual stimulation and be able to observe text based data for hours on end. For others, it is a complete nightmare.
I've tried to love paradox, I really did. I played all three Europa Universalis series, Victoria and the Crusader Kings. They're all equally repetitive and data focused. I thought I was stupid for not being able to enjoy the game. But I later found out that it's not about me being stupid. It was just a matter of preference.
Paradox fans argue that Hearts of Iron is suppose to be an 'action-based' series and that people who want more action should play that instead. LOL That's a load of bollocks lol lol lol Calling Hearts of Iron an 'action-based' game is like an African villager calling Cheetah the fastest thing in the world, not having seen airplanes or trains or cars in his or her life. The game is equally slow, except instead of 'build textile' buttons, you get 'build tanks' buttons.

That is one of the most intensely androgynous people I've ever seen.
That's exactly what my girl and I talked about through the whole video. >.>
Show Jumping Horse Underbelly Camera.
It is interesting how the horse gallop is more like the horse on very quick occasions, hurls itself forward. Not like us bipeds, we have to keep both legs at full speed the entire time to achieve our prime running status. Cheetah's do the same thing, the front legs hurl, then the back legs hurl, rinse and repeat. The way quads and bis run is really completely different, I never really examined it before. Quads really do own the running game...but good luck opening a Capri Sun, suckers!

Mach 20 glider, mach 20 thermonuclear missile.
You say potato, I say potato.
Remote control hummingbirds are neato,
Running cheetah-bots are scary.
Let's skynet the whole thing off.

If the robots win, we'll have to listen to techno.
DARPA Cheetah Sets Speed Record for Legged Robots
>> ^raverman:
As scary as i find the idea of being chased down and torn to shreds by a robot saber-tooth...
...I still don't think it would win Robot wars.
Hmmm, apparently a sprinter could outrun it over a short distance, but it would eventually catch them. The rest of us are fucked. Time to break out the EMP!

The perspective of a non-runner to an audience of mostly non-runners, in a society where the majority seems perfectly happy not running. It's been a while since running long distance was a necessity, depending on geography and available technology.
True...we could argue whether or not it's been a positive thing or a negative thing. I fall in the middle...as in it's great we have all this technology but it would be even better if we also ran a bunch.
Some form of exercise would be good all around to be sure. How about the idea that we shouldn't be running in shoes, although supposedly designed to cushion and enhance, have been found to possibly be the culprit for whatever injuries runners suffer from. Simply not natural, and we wouldn't try to put shoes on a cheetah.
Yeah I run with special "Barefootie" type shoes because it helps my knees. Everyone should run.
