no. if it's not true then it's false. there is truth. truth can be proven. truth isn't a choice.
- the president tried to lead a coup. he failed. the uprising HAPPENED. no camera tricks. no 'deep-fake' poo smeared on the walls of congress.
- COVID is killing. Delta is turning FL & TX into a breeding ground of new strains (Delta + is already out before Windows 11).
Those are real.

StormsingerI might have been partaking just a bit, but I had one hell of a time deciding how much of the video was CGI, or how much was camera tricks. There's obviously -some- quantity of effects, if for no reason other than the duplication of the drones. OTOH, the landscape looks perfectly real, as did the ripples on the water.
To be perfectly honest, I don't even remember now what I decided...but I remember arguing with myself for almost the entire video.
Can you explain what your description text has to do with the video? I watched it based on that, and was expecting something along the lines of a logic puzzle or a look at some of the quirks of the human decision-making process / biases.

It's fun to mess with but know up front that it will not look as spectacular as it does in this video. This is sped up quite a bit and has all sorts of great camera tricks going on. I am actually more intrigued by how they did their pans and sweeps during the timelapse. Presumably with some sort of slow-moving rigging system.

Yeah I don't think it matters. Magic is for entertainment, camera tricks are entertainment. I think making a distinction matters but not really to the laymen.
It matters to me, and I'm a complete layman when it comes to magic. I felt so cheated by Copperfield when I found out how he did his big tricks that I've never watched any of his performances since. It takes no skill to cheat...and -skill- is what makes magic entertaining.
And in spite of my feelings on his personal beliefs, Penn Jillette has incredible skills and is a great entertainer.
