Not that I don't believe you but, both the voices sound like Elizabeth Fraser was multi-tracked to me. Guess my ears just ain't what they used to be.

Having just heard both of the songs, I actually prefer the movie version. He's a worse singer, certainly, but the album one that @Duckman33 seems too polished to me. I like the super campy style and "roughness" of the movie version.

I have to say, I am NOT a fan of this version of the song. The singing, at least. The studio album was so much better. I think it's one of the only performances in this I prefer in the albums to the movie (Other than the goofy voices of the pharises.. phar.. However that goes.)



My problem with this version is he puts absolutely no emotion or feeling into the song. It sounds robotic and stiff like he's just going through the motions and really isn't enjoying singing it at all.

P.S. Alice Cooper recorded a demo of this song for the original soundtrack too. I didn't like his version much either.

The very cool official video is also worth watching if you like the song, but has embed disabled.

Does anyone know who La Belle Alice is? Or what she has to say about France?

I just came back from a long trip overseas, and while it would've been nice to not have to lug twenty pounds of books along with me, I would never trade my bookshelves for that convenience. If electronic versions of the books came with the hard copy, that'd be nice.


Circumventing DRM is easy. Also, it's legal to do it for certain fair-use purposes, since the copyright office published more exemptions to the DMCA.

But there's the rub. Alice wants Bob to buy Pirates of the
Caribbean from her. Bob will only buy Pirates of the Caribbean if
he can descramble the CSS-encrypted VOB -- video object -- on his
DVD player. Otherwise, the disc is only useful to Bob as a
drinks-coaster. So Alice has to provide Bob -- the attacker --
with the key, the cipher and the ciphertext.

Hilarity ensues.

Twice in as many weeks I have laughed at the word rape. Not since Alice's Restaurant came out. This place is corrupting. But fun.

Great.
