Do tell, if you can remember.... I love a good title.

And clearly your tagging skills are better than mine, since you were caught in the submitting process.

Haha I almost gave you a sympathy vote anyways... next time!

Your title WAS way better — so was mine when I went to submit it too...

Yeah, well, my title was funnier. I was looking forward to causing some grins.

I'm still learning the tag thing. That is the first thing I did -- went and looked at the original's tags to see where I went wrong. Shorter is better -- I was too specific in my type of plane.

I enjoyed my one vote I garnered -- mine!

Qantas Grounds A380s After Jet Engine Fails

EMPIRE says...

I just heard on the news that another Qantas plane of different model, had to make emergency landing in Singapore.

This is smelling to me more like Qantas having a poor maintenance service, than the A380 having some kind of faulty engines.

From the reports so far, it sounds like it was an issue with the Rolls Royce engines rather than the plane itself (not that that makes any difference when you're at 30,000ft). Hopefully they get the problem identified and fixed shortly... the A380 is an incredible bit of engineering and an amazing plane to fly on.

B747-200 Takeoff And Landing From The Nose Wheel Perspective

Lodurr says...

Ah the A380 was just in the background under the left wing. I should've known, I used to be a "pushback dude" at my airport job and pushed plenty of 747s. I'm just not used to seeing one so clean.

You could re-submit the video with the correct URL, then do a dupeof on this video to transfer the votes. Would that work?

Why is the quote not working? It looks fine in preview.

Sometimes Siftbot is smoking teh crack.

Try editing it then saving, sometimes goes away on it's own.

The reason the text appears "Air France A380" is probably because at the time of the video, they were the new-new thing, and an Air France A380 was sitting at the gates in the background as the 747 turns at 0:43. The video slows down too, to give a long look. Kind of a "OOO OOO LOOK LOOK!!!" moment.
