^while i don't think this is the best thing he ever did i'm sure it was crucial in procurring nirvana's place in culture. without the unplugged session i think people would be more likely to simply remember them as a noisy grunge band. unplugged really helps to establish the music itself. jon brion did an amazing cover of lithium once on his short lived vh1 show that i think does the same thing.

I created the list a while back but finding songs for it became kind of slow after the initial few songs that immediately come to mind.

Am I the only one who thinks this song is garbage? I'm definitely upvoting it for the novelty and curiosity factor, but holy crap... it lost all the charm of the original for a completely sterile, horribly generic, VH1 yuppie rock sound.

See it tonight on VH1 after the Flavor Flav show. It has better acting and fewer STD's.

Not a dupe. Raytrace's video is the VH1 "Pop-Up Video" version, with all the annoying little balloons popping up in it. SG's is pop-up free. The only annoying little thing in it is Rick Astley. I say * return, but I'll wait until a few others have weighed in on this heavy issue first.

Its actually a nipple piercing. How could I possibly know this you ask? Years ago I used to watch pop-up video on VH1, and they were kind enough to point it out to me.

i haven't embedded from them, and won't, until they just fucking let people watch.

oh. and it's not CC's fault, directly, imho.
Viacom blows donkeys. (CC, Mtv, Vh1, etc) i think i may have mentioned that earlier elsewhere, but i think smibbo would agree, it
bears repeating.

i wish Stewart, Colbert, Trey Parker, and Matt Stone would start a telethon, to buy CC right out from under Viacom, in a hostile takeover.

because it's a goddamn shame that half of what i think is the only watchable TV in the states, is owned by tightwad, proprietary, short-sighted fuckwads.
