I also wondered that. I love Bill, but he's a comedian, not a reporter or even pundit. His viewpoint should not be news unless it creates some real 'news'.
I find it odd how often the right wing pundits and representatives want to 'debate' with a comedian and their statements lately instead of arguing with other 'pundits' or reps that aren't joking.

Clear, but I considered it unnecessary. Until the majority of alternative media starts speaking clearly as to the source of the disinformation disease that has created the world we live in, no news is real news.

Until the veil is lifted to expose the criminality of world governments and the families and complicit lackeys responsible for the amalgamation of power into a single world governing body all the endless banter over particular recent political and economic events without reaching farther back historically, for me negates all reasonable context for what's happening now.

It's the powers behind the puppets and pawns who need to have their shit scrutinized and reported upon, until they have nowhere to hide.

Follow the goddamn money, the entire collection of the world's ill's reside in monopolistic control by assholes, of the worldwide financial system.

Banks, insurance companies, lawyers, doctors, all work well when there is a healthy atmosphere of fear and dread, THIS is the only real power geopolitical manipulators have.

The world's fear they have and continue to instill. They do it by manipulating economies, enforcing laws with soldiers, and through complex and not-so-complex, continual distraction and disinformation.

and yes, I'd say the same damn thing if it was a Republican doing a selfie. Whether you like it or not, Presidents (plural) are celebrities and all their shit is overscrutinized. Meanwhile, yet another tiresome debt ceiling debacle is going on by the actual lawmakers and holders of power in this country. The whole idea of a king/queen or president in the modern age is to distract the populace while the real power holders in business and gov't go unscrutinized.

If only that were true. I could forgive them for ignorance however it's not. The media at least the ones with half a brain cell and an once of perception all know what's going on. Like this guy he gained his knowledge by being one of them till he finally got so sick of the corruption, hypocrisy, and propaganda he had to speak up. I used to work for a newspaper so I understand where he is coming from. Media and News are a business they aren't acting to inform the public of critical information. That's how they present themselves that's what they want you to believe but that's the furthest thing from the truth. When I worked as an editor I began to see what it was about, they care only about money stories are arranged in a way to draw attention to the advertising space on each page. Advertising ALWAYS gets priority on the page. My job was to read a story and figure out what I could cut out of each story to make it fit in the spaces left after the ads were put in. If I had to cut out important info that was fine as long as it fit. Money is the media's only purpose. They could honestly care less about bringing real news to the people they really just want to grab your attention long enough for you see a commercial or glance at an Ad. The real news is out there but you have to look for it yourself don't depend on the Media to tell you what's going on in the world because all they really care about is money and power.

Whatever happened to real news? Oh yeah, it never really existed in the first place!
We need more pentagon papers kinna folks-Not so much reporters as participants...people who see the big picture and risk imprisonment in the name of information distribution. People who realize that a non-disclosure statement signed will at at some point, mean your own mental and spiritual demise.

Ok, the guy is a racist asshole. I get that, he's an asshole. Its good that he was exposed as a racist asshole. But I do question the real news value here, just people patting each other on the back and competing about who can describe best how assholy and racist he is.. I mean , I've sort of commented on this kind of vigilante business before. I hope the guy is punished for his behaviour and people stop buying his shit and his business flops, and he gets sentenced for assault. But is TYT actually doing anyone a favour here? I'd get it if he was an elected offical, or if this woman was mistreated by officials of some kind, like the police etc. or if they could show how this kind of abuse was rampant in society, but honestly, this is a fight between two people, one of whom is a racist asshole. Why spend time knocking down this clown in the news/TYT?

The other thing is that we dont know the full story behind stuff like this. Surely his behaviour is without excuses, but he could have some problems or whatever that sent him over the edge and he took it out on this woman.

Again, not making any excuses for the guy, but stuff like this should be handled in a courtroom and shit like that, not by rants on TYT or youtube or elsewhere.

Bottom line: Society at large should be better than this guy, take the moral highground and not bring back the Pillory, let that shit rot in the middle ages, just like racism itself.

I woke up and read a BBC article about this...where they also talked about Bradley Manning and how he is being detained illegally during all of this, they had quotes from Assange talking about it, ya know like a real news organization would do.

The CNN article I read a few hours later was twice as long (and twice as boring), and it did not mention Manning at all, like he didn't exist.

Just food for thought if you're thinking that the big bad liberal media is doing everything to make the US look bad, they don't, they're not liberal, they're statist.
