But methinks it'll turn out to be a side show compared to the DNC, especially after all the email leaks, which included the chairmen of the Democratic party actively working to undermine the Sanders campaign, and much much more....

I so badly wish I could have made it to their stuff in Cleveland. But work and lots of other stuff conspired against me being able to catch it. I might have braved Cleveland during the RNC to make the show.

I should note, I fully believe in gun ownership and the right to carry concealed. I don't care for open carry and I think the police are actually correct in this instance, a bunch of open carry people will not make things easier during the RNC. In fact, there is a good possibility that someone's stupid actions will cause more trouble for the rest of the responsible gun owners.

I think it's safe to say that's going to be the funniest moment of the RNC convention by a significant margin. There might some bits that elicit a "laugh because otherwise I'll cry" reaction, but I'd be surprised by any straight-up humor.

They brought it the superdelegates to oust Bernie and it worked.
It's a shame.

It's funny the superdelegate system is corrupt and a power play and everyone was predicting that the RNC woudl use them to prevent Trump from being annointed but instead they decided to ride his popularity train. I hope it leads them to hell.

But for the DNC to just cast him aside is just ignorant.
He hit a real nerve much harder than ANY of the other candidates.

FYI the politifact piece that Jon is going by is written by Riley Snyder,. With all the retweets he does of Jon Ralston(one of the bigger "violent bernie-bros" pushers) I highly doubt he gave the claims a fair investigation.

He clearly ignored the Roberta rules being pushed through at 9:30 while delegates were still in line to get in. It did not have a 2/3 majority. The rest of Riley Snyder's fact checking was just as reliable.

It is politics as usual, and not nearly as bad as what happened to Ron Paul supporters in the Republican primary.
