IF YOU USE CONDOMS YOU WILL NOT BE RAPTURED
So, you are telling me that if I use condoms I won't have to spend eternity with Kirk Cameron? Count me in!
The Ultimate Rube Goldberg Machine
Brilliant Video. If you look very closely you can see Kirk Cameron hiding in the shadows.
Many sifters are extremists when talking about religion (Religion Talk Post)
>> ^jiyanibi:
The way I see it there are two ways to make those people understand our point of view. Videos that help explain the logic and reason of life and science is certainly the more caring route. The other route, unfortunately, is videos that ridicule. Just like the older kids ridiculing the younger kids for believing in Santa Claus.
I don't think that works. We're talking about people who have been indoctrinated since their early childhood. If they're not over it by now there's little chance they ever will be, and certainly not by some YouTube clip, just like a Kirk Cameron clip has little to no chance of converting you to his faith. All it does is make you mad and I'd rather practice tolerance and understanding than mock those whose beliefs differ from my own.
And the whole "creationism in public schools" seems to be a purely American phenomenon in the western world, and I don't see it happening even in the US. Just because a few loud people demand it doesn't mean they're gonna get their way. Meanwhile the whole issue is getting way more attention than it should, which plays right into their hands.
Fox News survery reveals 193% support for the top 3 hopefuls
Going back to the Kirk Cameron videos:
"bypass your intellect!"

Fox News survery reveals 193% support for the top 3 hopefuls
I think the data was supposed to represent what % of the GOP base would back each candidate. As demon_ix pointed out, the flaw was in the use of a pie chart rather than a bar chart. I love how Fox's production department is actually an editorial department. Too bad for them that they are dumb. They're taking Kirk Cameron's advice to "bypass the intellect".

are they posted online?
Yes, they are.
You can google "Red Skunk" and you should find a source. I won't direct link if that might be against videosift rules, I'm not sure.

He sounds like a young and angry Alan Alda.
I was thinking "Why does this remind me of MASH?"

Howard Stern Hates Kirk Cameron
I'm not a fan of Howard's childish and insulting manner, but when it's directed at Kirk Cameron, I don't mind so much.

Two corrections to your text dft:
- Kirk Cameron didn't release the book, Ray Comfort did. He apparently hosts a show with Kirk and Kirk released a promotional video about the book give-away, but the bulk of the effort appears to have been on Mr. Comfort's end of things.
- The books given away didn't leave out chapters. The first printing, which apparently was sent out to various people to review, did edit out four chapters. The second printing, which was what they gave away in bulk, was complete. Both versions contained the ridiculous 50-page introduction.
Having said that, Kirk Cameron is still a douchebag.

I have. Adam Savage did it on Mythbusters. He showed me how to do it, too. It was an awesome episode.

OH I would of loved to be one of the recipients of that "gift". I am strong like sea otter and would of immediately known what was going on and went to page 50 and Yanked it out. Politely saying thank you for the book.

I'm still wondering if it would be ok to add an introduction to the bible.
The bible is public domain so it absolutely is.
I want to pass around a hundred thousand King James Bibles. Only I'd include a one page introduction to it that says:
Everything within this book is fictitious. It was written between 200 and 400 years after Jesus was alive.
And King James had the bible re-written in his image and barely a word of it mirrors the early texts.
But then again I doubt it would work, as the religious devout and 'actual history' rarely get along.
