one of the awesome things about being 19 and marrying white trash is how all summer long all your trailer trash in-laws through parties in fields with old pick up trucks, and beer, and joints, and 23154654321 little babies, and things get lit on fire and shot with guns and otherwise blown up and other things get cooked, and everyone thinks its great if you put this song on repeat and sing it loudly and never ever cut your hair and refuse to wear shoes or bras and take your mother in laws sun dresses from the 70s and dance around in these fields with all the babies on your hip. and sometimes it sprinkles rain and is beautiful.

The Johnny Cash Show was on the air from 69-71 so this is *vintage

Incredibly moving. I can barely watch this without profound sadness threatening to overwhelm me. Johnny Cash was one of my favourite artists as a child and I had just rediscovered him maybe a year before he passed away. Now just hearing this song on the radio is enough to bring a tear to my eye.
He was one of the best and is missed.
