Betty Boop's Halloween Party (1933) Colorized Version

Max Fleischer - Out of the Inkwell - Modeling (1921)

"Department of Peace" deservedly mocked

rougy says...

Ari Fleischer is the front man for "Freedom's Watch," just another swiftboating type group meant to do the president's bidding.

Huffington Post

"Freedom's Watch" is just another group of half-baked rightwing nutjobs who still see commies hiding under their beds at night.

Freedom's Watch's first major advertising campaign emphasized the sacrifice of U.S. troops and their families in Iraq. As The New York Times wrote, "Several of the group's spots suggested that Iraq, rather than Al Qaeda, was behind the Sept. 11 attacks, even though the independent Sept. 11 commission investigation and other inquiries found no evidence of Iraq's involvement."

Typical rightwing liars.

Chris Matthews questions Ari Fleischer on McClellan's Book

RedSky says...

It's good to see Matthews holds Ari Fleischer to the specific questions he asks of him and doesn't just let him parrot off talking points.

The general decorum of every talking head from the White House regarding this issue seems to be utterly incognito about the specifics mentioned (which they all seemingly had nothing to do with and were not aware of) while being all too willing to make wide ranging generalisations about the state of affairs regarding everything from Hurricane Katrina, to the public propaganda PR campaign. That particularly, in light of the recent findings regarding the so called 'message multipliers' is simply amusingly hypocritical.

Ex-CIA agent: Waterboarding is torture. White House: Um...

xxovercastxx says...

"I can't imagine how Perino, or Snow, or McClellan, or Fleischer could lie like that, every single day. I would be a bad White House Press Secretary."

In the past 5+ years the White House Secretary has been a bad White House Secretary. They also don't seem to last very long. I don't think most of them can lie that much without psychological consequences either.

$15M in ads from WH propaganda group try to make 911=Iraq

deedub81 says...

I don't see anything wrong with that. Ari Fleischer is articulate and he makes sense.

Islamic Extremists are gathering in Iraq. And yes, Islamic Extremists attacked us first. Whether or not you agree with the reason why we went there in the first place, you've got to agree that we have to stick around in Iraq until the Iraqis can police their own country.
