Our Jindos do the exact same thing. Husky/Jindo/Shiba inu/Shepherd dogs all need a lot of exercise. They hate being caged up even when they are being locked in space with the size of a living room. They'll chew up the gate and always escape to the larger area.

why would they cage a dog in a area that small. I hope it chews up their couch.

Guess who's coming home tomorrow to a chewed up flip-cap?

I haven't owned hunting dogs (retriever, pointer, or flush dog) before, but I have had friends that did. They trained their retrievers not to chew up pheasants by putting feathers around some chicken wire rolled into a tube.

Dog bites down hard, gets wire in the gums = dog learns to retrieve such things with a very gentle grip. Maybe these folks need to slip some chicken wire into an envelope and mail it to themselves.

I'm glad he's writing new material. I have both Chewed Up and Shameless and love them to death, but his TV series just seems to be regurgitating his stand up into a sitcom format. I know the jokes and now I get to see them acted out.

True story: when I was little I fell just as I was getting off the escalator, and it chewed up the back of my had pretty bad. I still have scars.

Upside: they look pretty sweet, like blades might fly out of my hand at any moment.

RESPECT THE ESCALATOR.
