What To Do While Waiting For Police
Further proof of how delusional you gun crazies are. You have no fucking idea on my position on domestic surveillance, warrant-less wiretaps or redefinition of US citizens as terrorists.
As a matter of fact, I guarantee you 1000% that I actually proactively do more to protect YOUR civil liberties against those things than you do by waving your penis-compensator around!
As for "mein freund", wtf is that supposed to mean? Is that a subtle hint at nazis? If so then you are an even bigger fucking idiot than I realized.
But whatever, talking here is obviously pointless. Ignorance is bliss.
Please, join Professor Farnsworth on the domestic surveillance, warrant-less wiretap, citizen redefined as domestic terrorist planet?!
Delusion is what you may experiencing, I suggest turning off the television, mein freund.

What most schools don't teach
Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)
I think that's a good point - and goes for any career. Follow your bliss, not the money.
I think it's more accurate to say that anyone who has any interest in creating things (or has a god complex) should learn to code. And of those people, those who love doing it should become masters of it.
As I was surprised to learn from my fellow computer science majors while in college, the vast majority of people who are pursuing a career developing software aren't even very interested in it. If you lack passion for it, stay out of the kitchen or you'll be miserable.
Yoga Undressed
Give yourself permission to feel joyful and radiant---at home in your own skin, blissfully unselfconscious and aware.

I hear ya but I can't help it. I flash read everything before me. All I wanted was a few more seconds of ignorant bliss. Sure, I'd figured it out on my own a couple of minutes in...I hope!
The answer could be; Don't read the comments until you've watched the video. Comments are, generally, known as SPOILERS!
That Awkward Moment When You Realize Nobody Is Listening
I was so lucky that Lann's a mute so I don't have this problem. Blissful silence.

Sometimes we get it right.
And congrats on the excellence of your internet business people. A trifecta!
Smiling Drunk Girl Makes an Appearance on a Live News Report
Ah, the slow, blissful smile of a drunk.
Ohio Romney Rally - Interviews with Supporters
The term; "ignorance is bliss," is not correct. Ignorance is simply ignorance, and Romney supporters appear to have it in abundance.
America: Land of Socialism - Thomas Peterffy
What an absolute dick. We are now entering special times in which these idiots can do this type of commercial political blundering. Since he is the all powerful and magical "job creator" and more a BILLIONAIRE he is allowed absolute leeway by the party he is fighting for, The Republican Party, and right after the debate this is the very first ad I saw--the first time I've seen it too.
Ignorance truly is bliss... How great it would be to have Mitt's money let alone THIS guy's money, to literally make an AD to shape an election! Who thought this was a good idea again... What a tragic and stupid mistake that little decision was; if it isn't reversed who the hell knows how far the rabbit hole WILL go one day. Probably like rule # 34 on the Internet...
I thought this was an ad that truly needed to be seen by people, not to agree with it, though I'm sure some will, but to show the shear ineptitude and soul-sucking nature of it's power.
Might as well *promote and let the masses see it.
Tig Notaro on Conan talking about Breast Cancer
>> ^yellowc:
Because he built his success on being honest and he isn't going to let social norms get in the way of sticking to that, personally I find it a breathe of fresh air. He is already helping her out tremendously with exposure, there is no need for him to feel obliged to completely foot the bill for it, this isn't a charity, it is an act of personal compassion.
20% also seems like a lot but only because it is relative to the cheap price of $5. If they charged $10, Louis would still of kept only $1, as he is not taking the money for profit. He also says "I'm" but this really means, the people who help me run my business and who I need to pay will require that $1 to keep getting paid.

That's cool and moving.
...One question: In the description / message from Louis CK I read "The show is on sale for the same 5 dollars I charge for my stuff. I'm only keeping 1. She gets the other 4."
Obviously I don't know the full story, but that strikes me as a bit off. Why not give all of it to Tig? Barring that, why not withhold any costs associated with hosting the files for download and/or manufacturing CDs or whatever and give Tig 100% of the rest? Or finally barring that, don't flat out say "1'm keeping $1 and she gets $4" -- at least weasel out of it with a generic "Tig gets most of the profits, and some will be donated to cancer research" or some such.
I guess what I'm saying is, I don't see Louis CK's involvement being worth 20% off the top. If she feels that it is worth it, that's cool -- but I'd prefer to be blissfully ignorant of it.
I think it's more than that, it's respect for a fellow comic. I listened to it again tonight and it's even better the second time. The honesty and the bald faced reality of it is simply beautiful. I just love it and I love that Louis recognized how great this was and put it out on his website. Louis is doing the right thing with that site and he deserves our support. Everyone should go to his show when it's in their town. I've got my ticket.

i think a dollar is perfectly reasonable. there is probably significant overhead in hosting a big file like that for (possibly) hundreds of thousands of people.
