The people that keep claiming these union workers are making $71 dollars an hour are being very disingenuous. That isn't the hourly wage these people take a check home for, but rather includes the companies' average costs for that person for all benefits they receive, as well as pension. I suppose it sounds a lot better for them to say they're against $71 dollars an hour than to say they want to take these workers' healthcare benefits and pensions away.

You know that little smudge of grey area between truth and untruth? That's where this $71/hour figure is sitting, and these GOP fellows are basing their whole campaign around it it seems.
