Help a sifter choose the best pictures
Woebane did these pictures. He needs to choose two to use for Christmas purposes. I helped him cut the 85 originals down to these. Help us choose among the finalists (you can click on them to see even larger versions):
These pictures were computer generated based on seed images and then manipulated mathematically using random recombinations. Post the number of your favorite here, please.

I'm kind of torn between 2 and 4. 2 looks like a creepy dead soldier laid out in the grass. Maybe that's too creepy for Christmas, actually. 4 is cool with the deer and all. But, 11 and 12 have a warmer color pallet which is more cozy for the Christmas period.
This really all depends on what this is for, but I'll cast my vote for 11 because I said so.
Well, you say it's for "Christmas purposes" then #7 gives me a snowflake vibe. Nice symmetry, cool frosty colors, and they way it's offset is nice.
#5 looks like a cathedral window, that could work for xmas.
I personally like #11 the best. looks like a long exposure shot of flying sparks
#11 looks like the bugs in Jesus' manger, I'm goin' with #5.
Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)
I agree that number 5 looks the most Christmassy. It's very celestial.
For Christmas? 10 - it looks like a snowflake.
But I thought 1 was an asteroid at first.
I like 4 and 7.
pretteh...
12 or 7
5 is sweet too, but it's nearly central compositional orientation is a bit too typical for my tastes.
I actually had a nice emotional reaction to #3, so that's my vote, though they're all so cooooooool!
Thank you to all of you for the help -- I just had the computer re-render the winners at 4096x4096 and then took the final output down for printing and framing.
