Sure, it's about 2 misanthrope roommates in their 30s living in London. It's a dark "slice of life" comedy about them trying to survive in corporate jobs and find love.

That doesn't really do it justice - my note was more for people who may be anticipating its return, as it's been off the air for a while. I know there are some fans on the Sift.

I definitely recommend giving it a try, but start back at season 1 as there is some story arc.

Yeah it was a good one. I was sort of thinking that they're getting a bit old, after 8 seasons to be playing thirty-somethings finding their way. I guess it just makes them even more pathetic , which is most of the humour.

Jesse in therapy was hilarious.

First episode was fantastic.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm always desperate to discover good content to watch during my long, lonely midnight hours stroking away.

At a keyboard, I mean.

I'm into series 2 now and really loving the show. Thanks for the introduction, @dag. If you have any other recommendations, I'm all ears.

Interesting and fitting that this is the longest running show on channel 4. Great stuff. It just makes me a little angry at American television.

I know - it's so fantastic. I don't think I've ever laughed more out loud at any show. I'm sad that this is supposed to be their last season.

My only other recommendations with these guys is: "That Mitchell and Webb Look" - which is both of them but in a skit format. Lots of clips on VideoSift.

And "Would I lie to You" - which is a panel show, but is still laugh out loud hilarious and has David Mitchell on it.

Just watched season 8 episode 1. Loved it. Gerard was a mad genius.

I've loved every episode of every series. I don't think I can say that about any other show I've ever seen.
