What has UsesProzac been up to?
I haven't been around much. I've been focusing a lot on music. I'm finally pursuing jazz. No more wedding bands or corporate gigs for me! Sitting in for my first time at a jazz jam on Monday. I've prepared Cantaloupe Island and Watermelon Man, both by the illustrious Herbie Hancock. I love you, VideoSift, just haven't had much time for you.

Good luck with your jazz gig
Break a leg and welcome to the club? I've formed a new game studio, have had no sleep this week between composer interviews, contract negotiations with a composer (see previous as to why THAT call was stressful), Innovation summit Tuesday, Art Institute Portfolio show and more interviews today. I here ya on the "not enough time"
I had no idea you were even a magician. Why are there no videos of you on the Sift playing? What is your instrument?
Thanks for updating us with your whereabouts. It's the rare sifter who doesn't forget us when they move onto ventures in meatspace.
You'll kick ass at jazz, I'm certain.
@eric3579 Thanks, buddy!
@darkrowan Keep that stress down with funny videos!
@lucky760 There is a video of me on the sift, lol. Playing a Disney song, you voted for it!

Oh! Nice!
(The years are whittling away at my memories ability to retain brain's.)
Congrats-Funny, those 2 Hancock tunes are a staple for the funk/jazz excursions of live bands with some horn....Covered both those tunes with a group in Oregon back when-Congratulations on your journey into the land o fusion-
How many and what instrumentation? Yer group? Sextet??
@choggie, it's an established trio, sax, drums, and a keyboardist that plays left hand bass. He has a Korg X50 mounted above his Korg SV1 that he's layered five bass sounds together on to make a really impressive sound.
I can't match that, so I'm going to play the upright while he plays the bass still in his spot where he sets up.
I started working on A Moment's Notice, as well.
