Don't Vote (Unless you live in Florida or Ohio)

All this talk of voting makes me laugh. It's as if the people still think the "right" of voting hasn't been superseded by the faulty electoral college.

People tell me to vote so my voice can be heard.
I want to know who's supposed to be listening.

Voting is like protesting. There's a level of humor to be found in large groups of people standing in one place, pretending that their actions will change the status quo.

After Al Gore won the popular vote, but lost the election because of 500 people in one Florida county, I decided that voting is a sham. And why would I waste a part of my day in order to participate in a sham? If I do that, I may as well go to church on Sunday, too. That could be two instances of talking to someone who doesn't listen.
