Georgia hearings in a Nutshell

newtboy says...

All *lies Bob. It's all you post. Every single claim you've made about the election has been professionally debunked by officials, most of them republicans. Every case tried has been tossed except one, and it didn't change a single vote. You lost, by millions of votes.

When examined, these are at best your intentional mistakes, like arguing someone with the same name as a dead person but different birth date is a dead person voting....but most are just made up by liars. That's the problem with being total liars about everything, Bob, you have no credibility when it might matter. Not one of the dead people accused of voting was found to have voted....nor any of these other baseless claims. Just fake news, Bob, lies by crybabies.

Be sure to tell your friends to boycott Georgia, no point voting if you believe this nonsense whining, your vote won't be counted anyway, so why vote?

Not one of these claims is corroborated by evidence, and they could be if they were true. All you've got is claims by liars who hope to collect the $1million dollar bribe that republicans have offered to anyone who can not be tossed out of court.

Georgia certified.

These claims were examined by the Republican election commission and all found to be false.

Quit repeating lies, liar. There's nothing to see and only wrong doing by Republicans caught voting twice. No democrats caught cheating, just accused by untrustworthy crybabies who can't accept you lost.

2,056 felons illegally voted
66,248 under 18 voted
2,423 weren’t registered at all
1,043 used a PO Box 4,926 voted past the reg. date
10,315 died before the election
395 voted in two states
15,700 moved out of state
40,279 changed county and didn’t re-register to vote

Nothing to see , no wrong doing.

Yes, why vote when we can have brownshirted mods to carry out justice. Much more efficient. No need for mob rule when we can have an elite few do it. I like this idea. I vote for this. Make VoodooV the site's Goebbels!

VoodooV said:

why do we have to call it siftquisitions when we can call it just....moderation like every other freaking site

getting kicked out of here shouldn't be put up to a vote. Bans are not popularity contests I don't understand what's so difficult about this...

someone with authority needs to simply enforce the fucking rules

violation of rules = warn/some form of punishment
continued violation of rules = ban

doesn't get more basic and simple than that. Someone just needs to DO it

this site has become infested with trolls because the word has gone out that its virtually impossible to get punished here. This place is slowly starting to become indistinguishable from YouTube comment threads

self linking, sure we'll ban you for that, but repeatedly troll, say blatantly racist things or blatantly abuse the voting system? yeah sure whatever/turn a blind eye

TYT Republicans destroy and have no solutions

VoodooV says...

oh god, you're another one of those "The parties are equal, so why vote" people.

Sorry, but you simply haven't been paying attention if you think they're equal. Even if you were to disagree with me on which party is less bad, that's still a more principled argument than this "the parties are equally bad" nonsense.

don't get me wrong, I despise parties, I'm an independent, If it was up to me, parties would be banned. But don't think for a second that I still can't make a value judgement and make a determination as to which party is less bad.

Saying they're equal is a cop out, its laziness...and it's part of the problem.

It reminds me so much of the media how they will try to prop up both sides of a argument to promote sensationalism. Obama is probably a citizen....But he might also be a Muslim Kenyan Communist. You never know people, it could go either way. Don't make a decision, let's promote the ratings---err I mean agony as long as possible.

SO who thinks this circle-jerk should survive to finally be published if but for the banter??

See, this is why voting for "content" is limited in this 'democratic' arena-This dialogue is destined for oblivion because of some panty-knots and opinions about what peeps THINK they know.

I enjoy the twirl, like any decent troll and perhaps now everyone can see the pile of shit that all this meaningless discourse is worth?
(it's my job peeps, to keep this absurd bullshit in-check, and more thanna half pint of ego)

Why not support me for president? Like Paul I'm anti war and pro weed. Unlike Paul, I'm also pro net neutrality, pro civil rights, pro education, pro environment, pro bank regulation, I think OWS is 100% right, I'm NOT a neo-confederate, NOT a wacky Austrian economist and I've NEVER published a racist newsletter. Why vote your fears instead of your hopes? Vote for me! Fuck the two party system, the status quo and career politicians like Ron Paul. If you are looking for a true outsider, 6th party candidate win no realistic chance at winning the presidency, let alone any kind of nomination process, look no further. I'm your guy.

I would have gone with you to the end...

but unfortunately you have a boat waiting and I have to kill some orcs.

Why you should be republican (Election Talk Post)

Lawdeedaw says...

Not quite what I meant. 3rd parties are great, but the problem is that they don't threaten anyone. If they make it into the mainstream, they become the mainstream...

I voted for Ron Paul once before. It counted because people were surprised he got the relatively high number of votes he did get. Sadly, his message was distorted into the Tea Party, but it would have been great had it not...that message was good and just and did something powerful--it just was made very evil...lol, good deeds result in some of the most horrible results... That's why the Japanese culture rejects love to a certain degree (Because its opposite is hate...and so hate cannot exist without it...)

However, I did not write him in after he lost the republican because the votes were not tallied...

Remember the Write-In candidate that won recently? "Impossible!" everyone screamed! And they even tried suing to get it thrown out...either way, my point was/is, the write-in was impossible...

I am throwing all of my support to Ron Paul this time--and am even trying to convince people it is worth it to do the same. That's the message. Ron Paul is not the savior, not the means to an end. He is the change our culture needs... And I vote for that change...

Biggest question is---Will you send a message or vote for the lesser of two evils? I am voting for the guy who stands no chance, as you know. But that is precisely why... Voting for Romney, or Perry or whatever only sends the same signal---money wins every time. So I say fuck that...
But, but, even if you do vote for the lesser of two evils, it's still better than watching...

Well, if you vote 3rd party, and no one really even fully acknowledges 3rd party candidates exist, are you really sending a message? If so, who's hearing it?
We should have some personal testimony from people who vehemently advocated voting 3rd party in 2008 -- was your message heard?
My stance is that if you're dissatisfied with the entirety of the political landscape, then you need to do more than just vote on election day. You need to make your case to anyone and everyone who'll listen, to try to get your ideas out into the conversation, and try to win converts.
Oh, and if your only idea is "both parties suck", that's not going to ever go anywhere. You need something for people to be for.

Seriously, how do you propose this country fix itself? Vote the same cookie-cutters in?

And I can't believe a true blooded conservative (I think that's what you are) is crying that "all's fair in love and war" is unfair. We want two votes and are strong/smart enough to get em, we take em.

I raised the question of why votes are fixed a while back, I think, but I was thinking less about clumsiness and more about those times when you upvote something and then find out it's fake or out of context or something else that actually changes your opinion of the video.

Foxconn makes products for both Apple and Microsoft, so people who want to vote against Foxconn with their wallets don't get to use computers or the internet.

Wow. Ok first of all Foxconn manufactures hardware, so you'd still be ok to use Windows if you so choose. You wouldn't have to, since Ubuntu is a great alternative and as its userbase grows so will its usability. Damn, you can even install OSX on a non-Apple PC if that's worth the trouble for you. Let's start with your private use and not get into how you're forced to use certain things to earn a living just yet.
Second, you talk about food and medicine and how you could buy neither. There are always viable alternatives for these fundamental needs, but why not start small? If you want to boycott Foxconn you can't have any of the current generation gaming consoles. No Wii, PS3 or X360. If you own them already make a point by throwing them out. If you're willing to take that step, we can further discuss the more elemental human needs such as medicine and food, but my bet is that it's not gonna happen, because your attachment to some plastic piece of entartainment far outweights your bullshit rage at Foxconn that you spew. You're probably too confortable with the level of wealth and consumerism you live in, which is the real reason why "vote with your wallet" won't work.

To each his own. Good luck with your ineffective political ideology.
