I'm pretty sure they are working on that. I can't find the video for it, but I know I've seen it here before. They are supposed to place themselves in front of wherever you are turned, or wherever it senses you going, or something. Damn, I wish I could find that video.

pair that with an omni-directional treadmill and that would be insanely fun. But you'd need screen glasses. A poor man's holodeck. Except for the treadmill.
