Donald Trump will never be President of the United States

bobknight33 says...

Syria line in the sand? Obama pussed out.
Russian invasion of Ukraine. We were obligated to defend them. Obama pussed out.
Obama apology tour.
Obama has lowered our standing in the world.
Obama not securing our boarder.
Obama allowing sanctuary cities.
Yes Obama did destroy out standing and American values.

Trump is still in the beginning and time will tell. That being said His first 2 week were right on in making America first.
Trump starting his promise:
To build the wall.
Stricter controls on who enters America,
A good pick of Supreme Court nominee.
Started the process to dismantle the Un-Affordable Care Act.

I am a Cruze guy but he lost out. Will Trump fail Time will tell.
Stupid, fumbling at times sure but he is not dumb. Is he learning the political ropes sure.

He did beat out 16 professional politicians at their own game and then beat the opposite party. You have to hand him some smarts..

He won by listening to American heartland.

I think the issue here is that John Oliver overestimated the intelligence and compassion of Americans.

If he'd spent more time hanging around @bobknight33 perhaps he'd have seem Trump coming.

Still waiting on a response, btw, Bob, I'll rephrase so you don't have to dig through my other comments. You once said Obama would destroy the United States; What specific examples can you point to which support that claim? By what metric was the US worse off at the end of his presidency?

Likewise, you claim Trump will be great for the country. What metrics can you point to which you believe will improve under his reign? Let's get some numbers down now so we can track his progress.

Lastly, when (and I do mean when) Trump fails utterly, will you admit you were wrong about him? What exactly would have to happen for you to admit you were wrong about Obama or Trump?

David Rawlings Machine: Going to California

Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)

Nicest thing I've seen in a while. I had to see these guys twice last year as they finally came to Australia and toured. Allow me a rare self *promote

SNL - Donald Trump Christmas Cold Open

TheFreak says...

I believe they got it backwards. The point of the "Thank You Tour" was for Trump to give all his supporters the opportunity to thank him for becoming president.

How Many Countries is the U.S. Currently Bombing?

transmorpher says...

So you are appalled at what ISIS are doing, but you still see the US army as the worst people in the world? This is why I'm agreeing with that quotation.

As much as US collateral damage could be lessened, they are hardly the worst people in the world. Especially as individuals - when a soldier goes home at the end of their tour, they're just regular a regular person. You cannot say the same thing for a member of a terrorist organisation where the practices listed above are considered not only normal, but law.

There is a really big difference between accidental, or even negligently causing civilian deaths vs. a doctrine to kill civilians (especially when they are your own civilians) - that's another thing entirely no?

Like I said in my previous comment, the bombing is not even anywhere near as indiscriminate as the left media would make it seem.

Ordinarily, I'd say that question is borderline retarded, but as it's a youtube comment, I'll give them props for actually using correct spelling.

But to answer his dumbarse question in reverse.... uh, first people ARE appalled at what ISIS is doing. Have you somehow missed the last 5 years of media coverage? Remember the whole "je suis charlie", "pray for paris" (as if praying wasn't what got us into this mess in the first place), etc?

Second, you hold your army to a high moral standard because they're YOUR FUCKING ARMY. When you give a bunch of people guns and a licence to commit violence in the name of your country, you expect that they do so in a thoughtful manner.

If literally the worst people on earth are your standard for moral behaviour.... that's a pretty fucking low bar.

MESHUGGAH - CLOCKWORKS

shagen454 says...

Yeah, Meshuggah aren't huge in America for some reason and I always see people say "I listened to this over the years and then I came back to it and it clicked". It isn't something most people are going to "get" right off the bat.

No doubt, Meshuggah will click for people once Metallica takes them on tour later next year, lol. But, it's funny how many metalheads, many hipster mathrock people, etc etc, do not like Meshuggah, when in my eyes they are the best at both math and metal.

Don't like the music, but like the visual. It reminds me of the demo scenes!

Curt Smith of Tears for Fears and Ted Yoder

lurgee says...

I remember seeing the "Songs From the Big Chair" tour and after every song it sounded like the screams from one the early Beetles live performances.

I remember seeing them in concert and it cost me $20 for really good seats.

30 Years After - Chernobyl 4K

Adam Ruins Weddings

Payback says...

As a part of the greedy industry he speaks of, we really don't too much of a rat's ass about weddings anymore. Get more money from wine tours. Easier on the drivers, little chance of bridezillas.

Ann Coulter Insults at the Rob Lowe Roast

Payback says...

Supposedly he yoyos. Gets in shape to tour, then goes total coach potato in between. Obviously this appearance was during a non-tour time.

Kevin Smith Shares A Moment With Daughter Harley Quinn Smith

MilkmanDan says...

Kevin Smith is an awesome guy. ...A bit hit or miss as a filmmaker to my personal tastes (I *hated* Tusk), but he's still awesome.

Stuff like this where it is just him being himself makes for excellent entertainment. His "lecture" tour videos at universities "An Evening with Kevin Smith" are great.

25 Random things about me... (Blog Entry by youdiejoe)

ChaosEngine says...

1. I hate writing lists like this.
2. but only because I'm afraid I don't have enough cool stuff to put on them
3. I swear.. a lot, but I get away with it... in person, because I'm Irish, and in writing, because I'm an eloquent motherfucker
4. When I was a kid, I really wanted to be a space shuttle pilot. My entire room was covered in space posters, until I was eventually convinced this wouldn't happen in my early teens (kinda hard to be a shuttle pilot when you live in a country with no space program or even an airforce).... at which point....
5. I started listening to heavy metal and for years I wanted to be a touring musician. Played in a few bands, even recorded some stuff, but I was never really that good, but I did teach my brother to start playing
6.... who is now waaaay better than I ever was, has a degree in music and releases some of my favourite music.
7. I am by a long way the most level-headed member of my family.
8. I like to think I'm resourceful (read as "watched one too many episodes of macgyver as a kid") and set myself little challenges all the time (like trying to break into my own house)
9. I've been arrested once and spent a night in a cell
10. I love the mountains (snowboarding, mountain biking) but didn't realise this until my late 20s. It's one of my great regrets that I didn't start these things sooner.
11. I'm a 3rd dan (soon to be 4th!) black belt in Aikido, but....
12. I haven't been in a fight since high school.
13. A small immature part of me really wants someone to attack me so I can find out.
14. The rest of me isn't nearly that stupid.
15. I love to cook (especially BBQ), and will happily spend all day preparing a meal for my wife or my friends.
16. I don't have or want kids, but I get on great with them (I suspect they think I roughly as mature as they are).
17. I teach a kids Aikido class.
18. I'm very good at my job, but it's just a means to an end for me. If I never needed to work again, I wouldn't.
19. No-one will read this far.
20. I think people are basically good, but they're also stupid and easily manipulated... this goes for me too.
21. I really want to travel again, but life keeps getting in the way.
22. I'm a total geek.
23. I like to look at everything from all angles, but there are somethings I have no time for (homepathy, racism, homophobia, climate deniers, etc). I don't believe in debating these people.
24. I sometimes wonder if I should put my money where my mouth is and run for public office, but then I remember that that would seriously cut into my snowboarding/mountainbiking/aikido-ing time.
25. I am very tempted to delete this list.
