Stella the dinosaur expert. Age Four. Best Kid Ever.
>> ^Jinx:
My 4 year old inner child just found his soulmate.
(man, I had to phrase that sooooo carefully to not sound like a total creep. Still creepy? Oh ok. I'll just take a seat then.)
There's a big todo going on about Samsung plagarising Apple advertising. It seems they got the same girl in the iPhone 4s commercial (red-eye reduction etc) to do a Korean Galaxy Tab commercial.
If you ever see the two, I find the Apple one to be EXTREMELY creepy. The Samsung not so much.

Absolutely. I think she even said it wasn't exactly like it.>> ^dannym3141:

She's spot on that it looks more like a Styracosaurus, but it's not exactly like it either.
I think you gotta give it to her, that's pretty damn close, the characteristics are definitely leaning towards her suggestion!

Pabst Blue Ribbon commercial with Patrick Swayze (1979)
Last I checked, PBR was a typical American Lager, not Belgian in any way.
And I'd rather drink a Stellas Artois or a Hoegaarden than a PBR, any day. But, I'll admit, if I want some cheap swill, PBR is bearable.

Only Belgian beer for this liver.

Here is my second best New Orleans story -- first night there, I am sitting in a bar/restaurant, listening to a great classical jazz band, when I look out the huge plate glass window. Coming down the street .... A Bus Named Desire.
(Desire is the name of the neighborhood Stanley and Stella lived in; Streetcar named Desire was a streetcar headed to that destination.)
Next night, walking down Bourbon St and my attention is caught by a young man, blond, good-looking, who is clearly pissed at his trailing girlfriend. Total yuppy, wearing a pink Izod polo shirt and pastel Madras shorts. Yelling at his girlfriend to catch up: "Stella. Stella. STELLA."
I was happy. A bus named Desire and a yuppy yelling Stella.
LOL LOL I didn't know Stella was such a common name down south.

Kashiwa Daisuke - Stella
>> ^IThinkImTheShit:
This is overplayed in /jp/radio.
I mainly liked this song due to the jazz-hop element in the music.
Check out Hidetake Takayama's works.
Will do. I'm honestly surprised a song that long would even be considered let alone overplayed, or am I to guess they play an abridged version?

Robin Hood Tax on the Rich to Benefit the Poor
I have to agree with stella on this one. The net effect of a tax like this would be a reduction in banking transactions as they all calculate the new cost into the value of doing business. This would effectively slow the economy further, making it harder to drive down those unemployment rates. Banks would compensate for the loss however they could, including passing the rate changes on to the customers. And NetRunner, you really think there's a lot of competition in banking? Come on. There's like three or four major corporations running all the banks. Even without the cost being transferred directly to the average mortgagee or checking account holder, this still looks like a boondoggle to funnel more cash through the government. I'm not all that paranoid about government corruption, but nobody can deny the tendency for government pork projects and general waste.
Kids in the Hall - Comfortably High
>> ^KnivesOut:
Still the greatest sketch comedy troupe.
Keep trying WKYK, one day you might be this funny.
Kid in the Hall will always be my tops, along with Python and Stella (maybe even too out there for some Python/Kids/WKYK fans), but I still really enjoy The Whitest Kids You Know.
Also, don't forget Upright Citizen's Brigade!

Hi All,
We are planning on adding more videos here - just been busy - Karene and I have a baby daughter Stella (yes the joy of sex!) who is a delight and keeps us busy.
And we have been making some progress on our film ideas.
