I've played around in cities skylines with this concept. If you take one direction and elevate it, you can eliminate the stop lights altogether. Works well in game, but the never-crash physics stop me from thinking it would work in real life.

Good fun but not exactly a fair test since a Skyline is built for the curves, and dumping the clutch in one for a good launch will damage the transmission (so I'm sure they didn't do that.) Still that's one hell of a mobility scooter.

It's one thing buying products made in sweat shops, where people are paid very low wages, but if not for that, they probably would have no wage at all. It's a very tricky subject, because in the long run it has some advantages.

it's quite another lying to foreign workers from really poor countries telling them they will make X per month, and then not only paying them a fraction of that, but also making them live in squalid conditions, AND steal their passports so they are basically prisoners.

But it's not like the new york skyline wasn't built on the backs of under-paid, immigrant workers, with no labor laws and no security concerns. So...
