Grave Diggers “Can Hardly Keep Up With Demand"

Walmart loss prevention incorrectly accuses shopper of theft

Mekanikal says...

This is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Both of the guys FB pages have been disabled or deleted, I'm sure they are getting a bunch of hate, and rightfully so. Loss prevention is serious business.

Phonebloks

G-bar says...

I would argue that the design part is feasible, though I would not put it in "blocks". there has to be a casing or a cover, similar to today's phones. In case the phone drops or something like, you don't want to chase after all the blocks flying in every direction. The insides though could be arranged to be replaced, in a "blockly" kind of way, similarly to SD cards or Sim Cards.

Regarding profitability. There could be some serious business here. Think about the billion dollar phone cover industry we have today. you have so many colors and designs, which are made specifically per phone. There could be a possibility to manufacture hardware that could aim for the "taste" of the target market, within a set measurements and requirements.

Cop Rear-Ends Motorcycle, Blames Rider

scheherazade says...

The law is plain on the matter.
Unless there is a minimum speed limit, you can stop at any time.
You can stop as quickly as you please.
Traffic behind you is REQUIRED to keep a distance large enough to stop safely, REGARDLESS of whatever happens in front.

Also, a motorcycle is not required to be in the center of the lane. He has domain to adjust left/right as needed or desired. Unless signaling or turning, you can't exceed the lane markers, but you can be anywhere between the lane markers.

Most people don't bother to keep a safe distance. Fine. Most people have zero regard for others and are so self important that they even take personal offense when you call them out on their own transgressions.

Just because ~everyone is reckless and follows too closely, doesn't mean that they are all excused.

A car is serious business.
People should think of it more like an airplane, and less like a bicycle.

The fact that people can blame the biker here, simply demonstrates how little regard for traffic rules so many people have. A driver tailgates or drives inattentively or too closely (all things he's REQUIRED not to be doing), and people actually think it's fine. Simply crazy. This is what gets people killed.

Heck, imagine the conversation if the roles were reversed.
*Biker cop gets bumped by a car.
Do you really think the cop would be looking at the situation the same way as in this video, and apologizing for stopping?
Good luck with that.

Put a shot of blackberry cordial in the glass before pulling the pint.... 'tis grand, I'll tell ye that fer nuttin'.

HERESY!! You don't mess with Guinness. It is sacred.
I'm about to go all shinyblurry on everyone.
Whoever that unfunny ginger bloke is should learn some respect. It is a privilege to learn how Guinness is made. Much like Bruce Lee and Kung Fu, learning to pour a pint correctly is something that we only just recently started teaching foreigners. Woe betide the heathen who drinks before the pint has settled, and may god/allah/buddah/hitchens have mercy on your soul should you attempt to refill a pint .
Arthur J be praised.
Guinness: serious business.
I have to admit I was genuinely appalled when he did that.

Now that's pretentiousness!

There's a difference between creating a subreddit and actually posting things in it.
Reddit is driven by the users and jailbait had a lot of users. Why is the creator / moderator's head being put on a spike, but everyone else washes their hands? Why not expose the names of everyone who ever used that subreddit? Are they not as creepy too? Nonono, this one guy can take the lightning bolt so we can get on to more serious business like who should be the next president, should it be tweedle-dee or tweedle-dumb?
Here's a picture for all you white knight assholes http://i.imgur.com/Ob8LI.jpg you'll feel at home.
Fair warning: don't click that link.

Eric Winston Tears into Fans Who Cheered Quarterbacks Injury

Sagemind says...

Naw, Not cool man.

It's a sport and a job and a business, not a battle.

When one of these guys goes to work, he kisses his wife and kids and wishes them a good day, just like you and I do. They head off to work, knowing they will be back home soon again and back with their families.

Do you cheer when someone on the job falls, or something falls on them? Some jobs have risks and you know what they are, you just hope it doesn't happen. When someone slips and falls at work, knocks themselves out, it's serious business and everyone is concerned. You don't want to be the guy in the corner cheering and jeering because that's just not cool.

It's not cool on the job and it's bad sportsmanship on the field.
It's one thing to watch sports for the thrashes, smashes and hits, but you hope they get up and dust them selves off. They're athletes, they're tough and they can take a hit. But when you do see they are hurt, you don't cheer and be glad that they are hurt, that just goes over the line of human decency.

Chris Matthews Freaks Out At Obama After Debate

PostalBlowfish says...

The President needs to work on calling out Romney on the etch-a-sketch bullshit. That way the next time Romney denies his own plan, Obama can punish him and then maybe he'll put a stop to it. Obama looked exhausted up there. I was wondering what kind of serious business President stuff kept him up the night before.

Tap Dancing Satan!

LiquidDrift says...

I agree with you, it looks like all the tap dancers I've seen do the same moves and they all look lame. Even the best dancers look awkward, so I can't tell the difference between a good tap dancer and a bad one.

This video is hilarious though, the music, the devil, and to top it off it tweaked shinyberry a bit, heh heh. Oh sorry, satan is very serious business, nothing funny going on here.

>> ^SDGundamX:

I have never understood tap-dancing or why it was ever popular.
This video did not clear things up for me.
