Oh yeah...sorry.

You've reminded me of something hilarious from the expo, but I can't find a picture of it. There was a 2D sculpture of a Canadian Mountie, I think near the roller coaster, that totally had a huge boner! It was really the end of the arm, but the way it was made the elbow is in back, but in front was just a little triangle just below waist level. It was too funny, and obviously not intentional. Oh, the things you notice when you're 16.

Watch artist Phil Stein make insanely intricate 3D Poster
Well, it may look more complex than it is.
We made these in my first year 3D Sculpture class in Art school.
We used Foam-core, cardboard and paper, but the concept was the same. Creating a multi-layered image that expands out in 3D but when viewed straight-on can be viewed as 2D.
What he has here is no so much as a puzzle as it is, assembled.
President Obama and Jerry Seinfeld Go Get Coffee
Far out, that car is just beautiful.
I don't give a damn how it drives (I'll never get to drive one), as far as I'm concerned, it is kinetic sculpture.

How to Make Your Three Year Old Happy
Three year olds are easily amused, the sculpture was overkill:
A sculpture about extinction by Jonty Hurwitz
Great sculpture - annoying camera usage.
christian woman is really upset with you
"God's word is truth", so you better go kill yourself for wearing that cotton/poly blend bitch. That's much much clearer in the bible than the minor anti-gay stuff.
"Christians follow Christ" ...except when he said things like 'don't judge other people', 'be inclusive, not exclusionary', 'love your neighbor as yourself', 'money is the root of all evil', 'don't make or own any statues or sculptures that aren't impressionist...etc.

Drywall Sculpture
While I will say this guy is talented and makes great art...in my mind he's not doing "drywall sculpture", he's making "3d plaster wall art".
I totally expected to see a video of a guy taking a sheet of drywall and sculpting/carving his art by removing material. Instead he just glops some plaster on the drywall and molds it into shape. Totally different process with different results.
...but maybe I'm just nit picking.
EDIT: I was interested because we are about to start using stencils to create a fossil bed pattern on some of our walls, much like his art, but made with a stencil.
Fibonacci Zoetrope 3D Printed Sculptures
I'm not under the impression anyone is saying different. It's a zoetrope using a sculpture with a Fibonacci pattern. Two separate things. Neither dependent on the other.
Other *related Zoetropes.
Nice, but kind of really simple and the fibonacci thing is b.s.
Any repeating pattern would display these kind of effects, creeping forward and backwards when spun.
There are some interesting examples when used with water, making the water appear static, will post some links when I get a moment
Burning Man zoetropes (very cool art installations)

Fibonacci Zoetrope 3D Printed Sculptures
From description
In person uses a strobe light to get this effect. For this video, rather than using a strobe, the camera was set to a very short shutter speed (1/4000 sec) in order to freeze the spinning sculpture.
How much of that phenomenon is a function of the shutter speed on the recording camera? Does it occur in person as well?
