HILARIOUS!!!
Ziegler himself is now calling out the hypocrisy of those in his party who are calling for him to step down for (allegedly) raping the woman he and his puritanical book burning wife often had 3 way sex with, but who didn’t call for Trump to step down from his candidacy and party leadership when he was found guilty of raping a woman, but it’s no surprise since you didn’t care when Trump was bragging about routinely sexually abusing women and 14 year old young girls (look it up, he bragged repeatedly in public about miss teen USA contestants he told he had an obligation to sleep with and repeatedly forced his way backstage to watch undress while he owned the pageant, more than once on Howard Stern) on tape, broadcast, and it was public knowledge before he was elected in the first place.
Also don’t forget Trump’s friend Roger Stone who is a willing cuckold who put adds on swinger sites looking for “huge hung black Cock” to have deep hard nasty gangbang sex with his wife while he watched.
Yes, Trump’s (complete lack of) morality is now the official GOP position direct from the actual party leadership…immorality deviancy and debauchery are officially main features of the GOP, not minor issues.

PS- Thursday Trump lost his NY appeals of both the summary judgement of guilt and the financial monitoring agreement he’s already violated y secretly transferring $40 million out of the state. Expect more charges….much worse charges than Hunter is facing for exponentially greater and blatantly intentional crimes.

The chairman of the Florida Republican Party Christian Ziegler is under investigation by the Sarasota Police Department over allegations that he sexually abused (raped) a woman with whom he was allegedly having a menage a trois with, along with his wife, who happens to be a founder of the super religious “please think of the children” Moms for Liberty Group.

Grand Old Party of debauchery…all too often real physical hypocritical debauchery by puritanical fascists with non consensual partners, not imaginary insulting fantasy stories made up by idiots. (Pelosi’s husband’s boyfriend, etc)

His story is this is a fake story created for fame, to do political damage, or to extort money…the problem being she reported it to police Oct 2 and has kept it 100% private and has not filed any lawsuits, so so far is not looking for fame, to do political damage, or money at all. She’s looking for privacy and protection from her rapist boyfriend.

Tesla is Crushing GM & Ford Financially

newtboy says...

Oh snap!!
Tesla employees are claiming that, at least from 2019-2022 they and others routinely accessed and shared private videos from customer car cameras including captured nudes and sex, road rage incidents, speeding through neighborhoods, and footage inside homes and garages including inside Elon Musk’s garage…shared widely between employees for fun.
Of course, Elon/Tesla for years had insisted this COULD never happen and WOULD never happen. Another broken promise from Elon. This one a MASSIVE problem, requiring you to cover your car in a sound proof garage for any privacy.
This sounds like a major privacy issue for Tesla in America especially since the cameras record audio on private property which is usually a crime, and I can’t imagine what China is going to do. They might recall every Tesla in China as a national security risk.

Burden of Proof | Chilling One-Take about an Abusive Ex

cloudballoon says...

Maybe the overlooking (1st person) camera is in the girl's flat (or a collaborator's balcony), the 1st person camera is controlled by her roommate/collaborator. So the whole setup is to have the victim wait for the ex-BF to the pass by the bridge (a routine thing for him?), then catch her ex's audio & visual confession using a remote mic setup. So whether the ex-BF tossed the on-person mic to the river isn't important, since the camera just recorded a fresh physical assault, and a semi-confession of the past sexual assault as well?

I wonder if this is IRL, would the video be sufficient evidence to nail to ex-BF though? What consititue an admission of guilt nowadays? The suspicions of being recorded and his subsequent physical assault (arguably a minor one? But at minimum an invaison of personal space by force?)... a hint of gaslighting is in there too. All of these evidence, what are they worth legally? Is this at least sufficient to get a perma restraining order on him?

I assumed the heavy breathing, jacket removal, and camera movement were all the woman returning to her apartment with a second recording device in her pocket and camera in her window.
I guess, with the constant surveillance from multiple angles that’s the norm in most developed countries anywhere in public, and the overlooking camera angle, I never considered the idea that it wasn’t being recorded from multiple devices, so I might have missed the point.
I was only surprised she didn’t retrieve the thing he threw in the creek. The device may be destroyed, but the recording isn’t…not that there was a clear confession on it.

Today is interesting….
1.)a federal judge said in her official ruling that guilty insurrectionists WERE acting on Trump’s orders to “stop the steal”, which meant disrupt congress in their constitutional duties. That officially makes him a seditious insurrectionist.
2.) his deposition in the Eugene Carrol case is so full of perjury and contradiction it will be a miracle if he’s not charged. He actually claimed he’s never once touched a woman without prior consent….as if we hadn’t seen all the videos.
3.) in his pre deposition he was shown a photo of Carrol, who he’s repeatedly said he didn’t rape only because she’s “not his type”, but when he saw the photo he said “that’s my beautiful ex wife, Marla”. D’oh!
What a tool. Where’s your messiah now? (Hint, it’s a courtroom somewhere).

Edit: and, on Toth Senchal, he fully admitted stealing classified documents from the whitehouse because he liked the colorful folders. Another flailing explanation that contradicts his other flailing explanations without being a defense.
Still no defense to refusing to turn them over and lying about having them when asked by the archives, when they were demanded by the archives, or about actively hiding them when the FBI searched for them repeatedly, finding more every time everywhere they searched. 🤦‍♂️
Also no explanation for Giuliani claiming he was routinely instructed to take top secret documents home despite not having security clearance to see them and not having a secure place to store them at home.

Why it's hard to be Republican w/a mind and heart

newtboy says...

>50% chance of sterility and other lifelong severe health issues, 10% chance of death…EVERY FUCKING TIME they deny this type of medical necessity abortion, with zero chance of the fetus surviving to term under any circumstances, not that that would benefit anyone to torture a baby with an excruciating pain filled minimal temporary life of suffering like that would cause.
Proof it’s never been about saving life, it’s all about forcing their religious dogma on everyone, seizing power over people’s lives.

Forget the fact that there’s no chambered heart to beat until around 12 weeks, and not a functional heart with working muscle tissue able to pump any fluid until after 20 weeks, so the entire premise is based on lies, intentional misidentifying a nerve twitch as a “heartbeat” despite there being no heart at all to beat….almost like they think they thought the con through despite not possessing a functioning brain.

Waiting for @bobknight33 to say he knows better because he does routine maintenance on ultrasound machines (but has no biology or anatomy education). Sorry, Slingblade, that doesn’t give you knowledge.

It’s not hard to be a Republican with a heart and a mind, it’s absolutely impossible.

what is - that rarely ever was - the 'smack' [ w/little fear of blow-back] other countries routinely give the US. back-in-the-day there would have been gasps and pearl-clutching if any ally dissed us this much, so often.

Regan might have helped America get its groove back once, but following his policies/practices/psychology is killing its heart now.

we are in a plague of our own doing, undoing us.

Missouri tries to legislate reality away

newtboy says...

If you are talking policies that govern individuals, average is meaningless, you need to include the outliers. What I really said was, on average it’s somewhat true a bit more than half the time….with many exceptions, so incredibly far from a rule…far from “I can agree”.

You said “ Are you saying you do not believe that people who are biologically male(By which I mean XY) have an advantage in athletics over people who are biologically female(by which I mean XX)?”.
I pointed to one instance where (I assume) chromosomal males do not have an advantage over a chromosomal female in an athletic field….just an example of why I don’t believe it’s always true that people who are biologically male(By which I mean XY) have an advantage in athletics over people who are biologically female(by which I mean XX)..one you can’t contradict.

People are never equally gifted or talented, not even with themselves yesterday or tomorrow. I find the premise faulty.

Appears to, so far, in most but not all categories.
In many, the difference is minimal and an exceptional female will surpass males one day in most. Top ranked Kenyan woman already routinely beat top ranked non Kenyan males in long distance running, for one example.

I won’t extrapolate from a temporary skewed position, it leads to ridiculous conclusions….so I won’t be able to agree.
I can agree people believe that.

It’s not just sexual biology. It has nothing to do with genitals. It’s hormones, dna, rna, mental toughness, upbringing, training, health, environment, opportunity, etc. if someone born a woman wants to compete with men, and your position is correct, what’s the harm? If a trans woman, born male but never going through male puberty or taking estrogen and hormone blockers to reverse the effects wants to compete against women, what proof do you have to show any advantage? Two athletes excelling? Out of how many?

Now how expert are you in this field? Expert enough to define the exact point where each person has an advantage vs a disadvantage? I doubt it. But you think it’s fine to deny them the right to participate based on your ignorant assumptions. Do you accept such ignorant, biased assumptions to determine what you may do, how much you may participate in public events? I doubt you would accept it for a second. Think about that.

You want to equate them to non trans people while trying to prove how they’re so different. Pick a lane please.

No matter what your opinion, denying a citizen a chance to compete in public sports is totally unAmerican. I notice how you ignore that, as if to concede it under your breath. It doesn’t go unnoticed that you can’t address that. It IS the point.

Edit : as to the olympics, they have allowed trans gender athletes since 2004. If trans women are really men, why haven’t those records become equal between men and women?

bcglorf said:

@newtboy,

On average you can agree…

I never said anything against any given pro/competitive female athlete probably beating out plenty of biologically male folks.

I was only pointing to advantages between equally gifted/talented and trained people.

To that point, can you agree that most standing olympic records as currently separated into mens and womens records, indicate that the historical separation based on XX and XY certainly appears to show an advantage. Would you be able to agree following from that, the existence of distinct mens and womens records is because without it, women would be “unfairly” left almost entirely unrepresented in every sprint distance, every lifting record and most other records.

For instance, the Olympic qualifying standard for the mens 100m was 10.05s, while the standing Olympic womens record time for 100m is 10.49s. AKA in absence of a separate competition for biologically female athletes, even the standing Olympic record holding female wouldn’t pass the bar to qualify to compete in the Olympics.

That is the advantage I am stating exists, and matters and I am asking if you acknowledge that distinction existing as a result of biology or not?

Vote While It Counts

newtboy says...

Not in the rest of the world. Why can’t America do what almost every other country can? Why do you degrade and hate America so much?
Other countries with voter id laws usually have ID laws that require everyone to have ID voter or not, and they’re usually free. They don’t require anything new or extra to vote.
They don’t have new requirements for an ID that costs money, requires physical documentation many poor people don’t have, can require multiple visits for hours to a dmv hours away only during business hours (sometimes forced into taking 3 full work days off just to get an ID) and they don’t routinely try to close places you can get a photo ID in areas dominated by their political opponents, Trumpsters do.

Close every photo ID outlet in every REPUBLICAN heavy county, reopen any closed in DEMOCRATIC districts, make it free, simple, and require no paper documents (a SS# and fingerprint should suffice), no appointments and no getting it done at AAA, and make drivers licenses not valid for this purpose….then we’ll talk. Until then, it’s obvious voter ID is a voter suppression attempt by the party that openly admits it cannot win any free and fair election ever.

Let's talk about questions and the Potter case....

newtboy says...

There you go again, insisting that if police can’t kill with impunity and immunity, then anarchy will rule, there will be no police, and crime rates will skyrocket, making the US into Thunderdome in months.

Infantile, ignorant, and asinine, police in almost every other country kill far less than American police who kill around 3 people per day on average. In many countries they don’t carry guns, without a massive jump in crime. Imagine that. Are you saying US police are so incompetent that every other nation can police itself without letting them murder over nothing but contempt of cop, but divided America is totally incapable of that type of policing?

I would remind you, in the racist, sexist fantasy time period Trumpists wish to return to, police murdered non whites routinely and without fear. Wanting to return to that is pure racism…not surprising. Also, the Uber rich payed over 90% in taxes, without going bankrupt or just shutting down. Your “capitalist utopia” doesn’t exist without taxes at 3 times what they are now without loopholes. D’oh!
(For tax years 1944 through 1951, the highest marginal tax rate for individuals was 91%, increasing to 92% for 1952 and 1953, and reverting to 91% 1954 through 1963. For the 1964 tax year, the top marginal tax rate for individuals was lowered to 77%, and then to 70% for tax years 1965 through 1981)

I would also remind you how you screamed and cried over that terrorist bitch that was shot attacking the capitol with hundreds of armed violent cohorts that had already murdered and disabled dozens of police. You absolutely wanted that officer prosecuted if not just lynched….for a good shoot of a violent attacking murderer (part of the violent murdering mob makes you a murderer). Your blatant undeniable racist prejudice and obvious hypocrisy are showing, Bobby.

If police need to murder unarmed citizens over misdemeanors, they should absolutely stand down as that makes them the murderous criminal gang, not the police.

Trump didn’t steal the election…..

…..but he sure as fuck tried to, in dozens of illegal and unethical ways, and with 62 ridiculous lawsuits (in the hopes that his appointed judges would return the favor and appoint him president), and with a deadly coup… he’s still trying to. He just failed. Jesus fucking Christ, you ijit. Failing in your efforts to steal, getting caught, doesn’t erase the fact that you’re a thief. Duh.

Biden didn’t steal the election…he won by getting more votes, something Trump has never done, so it’s not surprising he thinks the person with fewer votes should win….but it’s pretty sad and 100% anti American that your ilk agree.

Trump has stolen at every turn from anyone involved with him his entire life, he (ghost) wrote books bragging about it, from routinely not paying contractors, using his position on boards to hire his own companies at exorbitant rates for jobs they often don’t do (but still get paid) bankrupting projects, creating projects designed to fall into bankruptcy after he strips the assets, stealing from students with his fraudulent university, stealing from veterans with his fraudulent charities, stealing from banks by inflating his assets then defaulting on loans intentionally, stealing from the US by tax fraud. Trump’s never had a business dealing where he didn’t screw over his investors by fraud or just outright theft.

Trump is a consummate thief, repeatedly convicted of or admitting fraud. Theft by fraud isn’t just theft, it’s theft compounded, often by horrifically destructive unpatriotic lies, that’s about as unethical as it gets.

🤦‍♂️

BTW, Trump has never won an election by getting more votes, since you forget.

What Was the FBI's Involvement in Jan. 6

newtboy says...

More liars spreading misinformation....like every single thing right wingers have ever said about the insurrection, the failed but attempted coup for Trump of Jan 6.

Come on @bobknight33, you know it was a horrible deadly attack against the United States when you're claiming it was Antifa or BLM who attacked, but now that every single person charged is a right wing nutjob like yourself, delusional, ignorant, and apoplectic over the bat shit crazy conspiracy theories you believe, suddenly you claim it was a peaceful picnic with families peacefully touring the capitol in orderly legal fashion, not the violent deadly hate filled anti American terroristic attack on democracy we all know it was.

The capitol police's minimal presence and preparedness was explained early on...the leadership refused to prepare, refused to deploy, and issued orders to retreat, all allegedly at the direct orders from Trump, that's why all his, and his families communications on Jan 6 are subpoenaed....it's been widely reported that he routinely used Melania's phone to avoid presidential scrutiny and recording of his conversation....like someone with a lot to hide. Multiple sources have confirmed this.

I won't insult your lack of intelligence by saying you believe this dishonest twaddle, but I will insult your lack of honesty for posting it, you dishonest idiot.

Jon Stewart | Problem With War: Burn Pits and Sick Veterans

cloudballoon says...

While I don't necessarily crave for his old comedy routine from himself anymore -- I've got enough of that from TDS vets like Noah, Bee, Colbert as well as Meyers -- I desperately want his kind of sharp questions posed to his interviewees, with or without the laughs. This 1st episode didn't deliver that, and so its quality isn't above the other shows. I hope it gets better, it CAN get much better.
