Mark 38 Machine Gun Hits Small Boat Targets
I think "strange times" are just about 17 years old when the testosterone kicks in.
Looters and arsonists and wannabe super heroes are naturally attracted to each other. It's an invitation. It's in the game. It's their party.
A good person or idea cannot go unnoticed for long. In the end, "Cream rises to the top."
Not really Strange Times. Same as it ever was.
Lot of worry about a 17 year old trying to fend off looters and arsonists. And seemingly no worry about the looters and arsonists. Strange times we live in.
RNC 2020 & Kenosha: Last Week Tonight with John Oliver (HBO)
Aaaaahahahaha-ha-ha-aaaaaahahahahaha!
That's a good one, Bob. We hate fake news, so we want the fake news president who's told more lies in his official capacity in 3.6 years than all presidents combined.
Another red tsunami just like 2018? I'll be on the beach waiting.
Come on Bobby, even you are better than that twaddle.
Edit:
32.9% drop in GDP is a great job to you, but Obama's constant positive and higher than Trump's numbers were proof he's incompetent.
180000 dead Americans and rising faster all the time with no end in sight is a great job to you, but two dead by Ebola (a more deadly and more infectious disease btw) with zero infections in America is a horrific failure Obama should have quit over.
A conservatively estimated 30000000 jobs lost, 1/2 permanently (some estimates say over 50000000) is a great job to you.
Failed trade talks and wars that have cost us hundreds of BILLIONS in losses is a great job to you, and Obama's successful trade deals and no trade wars made him a failure.
Untold trillions wasted thanks to a disastrous pandemic response, much stolen thanks to zero oversight is a great job, but the federal loans Obama offered to halt the Republican recession were socialism because he took collateral for the money and didn't just hand it out for nothing.
🤦♂️
Odd how America does so much better when you say we are failing, and infinitely worse when you say we are doing a great job....almost like you're rooting for our failure....comrade.
MEGA landslide 2020 because Americans are fed up of all the fake news BS last 3.5 years
Trump doing a great job
Louis DeJoy Says He Will Not Put Mail Sorting Machines Back
Evidence? I can't find any.
I'm not saying you're right, but I'll go along for the sake of argument and reply if they were removed they were replaced or were idle, they weren't removed from active service in a way that severely hampered the post offices ability to deliver on time or when the mail load was expected to rise.
The USPS has over $160BILLION in debt and unfunded obligations and is losing money. How is that "enough cash"? You mean if they use every penny of cash and credit they could actually keep the doors open through the year but with major cuts in service? Maybe, maybe not, but that leaves them inoperable, without the cash for gas to deliver mail or keep the lights on, much less paychecks and pensions....that is how Trump often leaves businesses, is that what you call functional leadership?
Trump is trying to cheat Americans out of their votes, a vote denied is a vote STOLEN, and he's doing what he can, openly and blatantly to suppress the vote as much as humanly possible including threatening to send armed "guards" to inner city polls to threaten and intimidate minorities, he's too dumb to hide it, and he's openly doing it because as he says, if more American citizens vote, Republicans will go extinct.
People aren't crowded together getting groceries for hours on end with anti maskers, and if having food wasn't life or death, you couldn't shop there at all. Derp. Starbucks isn't opened for sit down, are they? You can't drive through vote, too bad, that could help.
Utter ignorant bullshit Bob. Yes, it's MORE dangerous the older you are, but it deadly for all age groups.
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/covid-data/investigations-discovery/hospitalization-death-by-age.html
https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid_weekly/index.htm#AgeAndSex
Over 32000 REPORTED Covid deaths under 65 (meaning statistically at least 64000 in reality). Nothing burger? Not if you aren't an inhuman monster.
🤦♂️
This plan was in place well before this guy showed up. Old machines were removed also under last administration.
There is enough cash for the mail system .
Nothing bur another dump on Trump trick.
Democrats will cheat via this un necessary mail shit.
IF you can get your Starbucks or protest or groceries you can vote in person.
Covid is is a nothing burger unless you over 65. This is a non issue.
Helicopter night rescue of trapped firefighters
I was not disappointed to see this at the top of my front page under 'Hot & Rising'.

What?!? How is that possible? You said he's lost it, rambles incoherently, and has no plan. Don't tell me you were W-w-w-w....w-w-w-w....wrong.
His message was vote for me because I'm not Trump. Exactly what people need. FTFY
It took Trump 3 to erase those gains and then some. Too fast.
Cut taxes and removed regulations and billionaires did great, but not average citizens who lost purchasing power and didn't see a tax cut they can notice but now owes $88000 and rising fast thanks to the exploded debt and deficit, and has seen insane cost of living increases and decreases in public services in that time....and now thanks to his failure handing the pandemic, we're teetering on great depression.
Just look at over 50000000 jobs lost, and how many businesses lost, and GDP the worst drop ever exponentially, and no investment in America but massive leveraging our assets....that's jobs lost and wages dropping.
Um...I don't want sniffy poo Trump. I guess you forget he does far more than sniff little girls with his best friend Epstein, including his underage daughter, pageant contestants, even random ten year olds he sees in public and dreams out loud of dating soon.
Every day you get more deluded, it's almost impressive you keep bringing up Trump's disgusting habits by accident....maybe it's not an accident?
He might, the fix is overwhelmingly in on uncountable fronts and I won't underestimate the stupidity of the American voter again. If he manages to steal enough votes through his many schemes, he just might win the electoral college again....he's never won an election in 4 tries.
🤦♂️
yep I did, Joe was alert and presented himself well.
His message was vote for me because I'm not Trump. Not exactly what people need.
it took 8 years for Biden/Obama to bring America back. Too slow. Trump came in cut taxes and slashed regulations and America took off.
Just look at the DOW Up some 12000 points. That growth, That Jobs Thats better wages in the making.
You can have the little girl sniffer. Americans will pick Trump.
Trump will whoop Ass Nov 3rd.
Moving Day
Trump's covid "response", Trump's economy, Trump's unemployment numbers, Trump's (total lack of a) plan, his new idea is (probably unconstitutionally) offer 1/2 the relief needed contingent on bankrupt states coming up with another 1/6 from thin air....a plan blatantly designed to fail, but Trump will claim he tried and states just didn't want the money because they hate Trump and want to make him look bad. 🤦♂️
So yes, it's Trump's fault people don't have money to pay their bills nor any way to earn it. Leaders in other countries infected at the exact same time as the U.S. actually led and S Korea and New Zealand never had the issues we did and didn't have to lock down long at all. We had leadership that actively made things worse, not better, spread misinformation constantly, contradicted itself daily, and insanely conflated ignoring and denying public health emergencies with freedom and civil rights.
Longer than necessary? What states have met the required two weeks of consistent low numbers and a solid declining infection rate that even Trump says are the minimum guidelines for opening?
Buddy, you've never read the constitution, and wouldn't comprehend it if you did. You probably think Trump suspending payroll taxes is constitutional because he's the one trying it.
Yes, 3-5% death rate with up to 15% disabled for life is definitely worth closing businesses and keeping them closed.....unless morons like Trumpsters continue to ignore the recommendations and extend the shutdown indefinitely.
Precondition groups? You mean anyone with a pre-existing condition which makes them more susceptible? You're implying those without preexisting conditions are safe, utter bullshit. They aren't. BTW, obesity is a preexisting condition that covers >40% of America all by itself, being overweight covers >70%....and it's just one of dozens.
Can't go to work if it's closed. Can't safely reopen until infection rates decline, rates won't decline until morons stay home long enough without attending rallies and parties. Duh. After Sturgis, expect the second wave nationwide in two weeks extending shutdowns for months at least, fucking morons.
Gov cheese ran out now because Republicans want billions-trillions in unrelated payoffs, pork, pet projects, and tax cuts to consider continuing them, after grifting billions from the last, totally unregulated handout to businesses,... your brother is coming to live with you soon. If everyone got the extra unemployment and every business shut down and people stayed home, we could be like S Korea, but with Trump's (total lack of) leadership we have become a worldwide pariah, unwelcome around the world, and with 4% of the population we have 25% of infections and deaths and rising.
You said you work largely from home. We're you lying then, or are you being intentionally dishonest, misleading people now by hiding it?
And how is this Trumps Fault?
People not paying their bills is Trumps fault?
Democrats keeping states closed down longer than necessary keeping people out of work is un Constitutional and how is this Trumps fault?
Is a 3% death rate with 1/2 of deaths for those past retirement age and government should keep business closed?
Precondition groups should be told to stay home and receive aid.
Mask Up, Go to to work, Pay your bills.
My brother has a precondition and was told by his Dr. to stay home. He collects more $ from gov cheese.
I've yet to miss a day of work.

Seems it just got its eighth vote today and is newly "sifted" or published. It was languish in Grimm's pq until Mordhaus gave it the last needed vote today, to get it over the hump.
Of course i'm assuming your front page is listed by "Just Published" and not "Hot and Rising"
Why the hell did this show up on my front page today? It wasn't promoted or anything...
Inside Nancy Pelosi’s District:
SF has this problem so bad because it's such a successful city. Cost of living is at least double the national average, you're lucky to find a small one bedroom for $3500 a month there.
Because the weather is mild year round, transients never move on to warmer climates, but more show up in spring.
Housing problems there are largely caused by rising housing costs, unaffordable to some working 3 jobs. Many are lured in because you get more panhandling money when the average income is >$100000. I recall a few being investigated in the 90's who seemed to make well over $100000 a year by begging, one was estimated at $250000+. Thousands are working homeless, living in their cars because they don't earn enough to even share an apartment. Most make more than the national average. Keep in mind, $190000 is middle class in San Francisco.
This has been an issue in San Francisco and the bay in general at least since the early 80's when i lived there....but it has gotten worse as the population and rent increased but low income housing didn't.
Now Trump has said there will be no low income housing (which he thinks means all blacks) in suburbs, directing infinitely more homeless and low income citizens to cities in search of a possible roof over their heads...and in the same breath he blames Democrats for the homeless problems in cities.
As mentioned above, there is no republican plan to deal with homeless. None. They seem to think if you deny them services and food they evaporate. It doesn't work that way.
Pelosi doesn't control San Francisco, she represents it in the house. Derp.
What a dishonest tool. 1/2 the nation's homeless?! Bullshit. San Francisco has around 10000, America has around 500000. It's just more bullshit and *lies @bobknight33, not philosophy, news, or talks, and the only thing to learn from it is massive levels of misinformation.

You're almost right, some few unprofessional doctors say let >75% get it and build herd immunity. They're nuts, that's a guarantee of 10-12 million dead Americans at current reported death rates, and >triple that when you realize that without ICU care the death rate rises to 15%, near 45 million dead, and we are already at and over capacity.
Some doctors (likely many of the same irresponsible unprofessional morons) suggested taking Hydroxychloroquine was a good idea, until professionals proved them 100% wrong.
~4% REPORTED deaths, but we now know if someone gets it, recovers but with devastating lung and brain damage and dies a few weeks later of lung failure they don't count that as an official covid related death even when the death certificate does, so it's definitely higher than 4%, as if that's not high enough.
And what's the percentage that have lifelong debilitating effects like either permanently destroyed lungs or severe brain damage to name two?
Opening while cases are still rising, in direct contradiction to the CDC AND Whitehouse guidelines, guarantees another shutdown for longer, and the loss of far more mom and pop shops in the long run, so absolutely yes it's worth it.
Easy to say others should go back to work when you work from home.
Edit: in places where it CAN be done safely, including a minimum of guaranteed social distancing, masks, and sanitation at all times, I'm all for returning, but many if not most stores/shops can't, especially with the anti-maskers throwing fits. Our local stores limit customer numbers and some will act as personal shoppers for anti maskers and serve them curbside. We have had 200 cases county wide so far in the highest risk state, so it's working here so far.
Only kids under 10 are lower risk, kids over 10 are the same risk factor as everyone else, and under 10 can still bring it home to those more at risk. Restarting schools in states at high risk, nearly all states right now, is a guarantee of a longer, more deadly, more costly second wave.
First of al not ALL agree to stay shut down or to mask up.
% of deaths to infected is small. Is It worth shutting down and loosing mom and pop shops and much more worth it?
I say mask up and go to work.
Kids are the safest demographic.
Karen, Please Just Wear A Mask
What do you have against Samoa. Don't they have enough problems with sea level rise, now you want to lower their average IQ by double digits and overpopulated them at the same time?!
I say dig up the waterworld set and let them fight over dry space mad max style.
I don't believe you should have to wear a mask. I also believe that if you don't, you should be shipped to American Samoa and kept there until this whole thing blows over.
Failure
No, Donald John Trump is responsible for the content of this advertisement, and the injuries and deaths it mentions despite his refusal to take responsibility for anything.
4% of the population - 25% of cases AND 25% of deaths. This is how perfect his response has been, our infection and our death rate is >6 times the average and rising.
More functional testing might have shown higher infection rates than places that don't test at all, but testing rates have zero bearing on deaths, and our death rate correlates with our positive testing rates despite the near worthless tests Americans have been offered that can give up to 90% false negatives or 90% false positives depending on which test is available.
*promote remembering one more massive failure to lead that's cost more American lives than every war since WW2 and all terrorist attacks combined and climbing and more money than the entire Obama recovery from the Republican economic crash of 08.
Fauci
Lol. Facts are always BS to you Trump Chumps....
https://www.sciencealert.com/starting-isolation-two-weeks-sooner-could-have-saved-9-out-of-10-us-coronavirus-deaths
https://www.businessinsider.com/coronavirus-deaths-us-could-avoided-by-social-distancing-sooner-experts-2020-4
Real fact is that at this point it's closer to 95% because he is pretty much solely responsible for the resurgence of phase one thanks to his urging his cultists to deny science and make not wearing a mask and ignoring social distancing an exercise of freedom, causing much of the resurgence, and has done nothing to prepare for round two, so that number is guaranteed to rise.
"> 90% of Covid cases by his ineptitude, " Such Factual BS
A mask is an IQ test
They stop most of the droplets of spittle you, and everyone else, spews constantly. Sneezing sprays the most, but just speaking spreads them way more than the 6 ft suggested.
If every American had actually quarantined themselves and worn a mask in public, this pandemic would be all but over in America, just like it is in most other countries besides Brazil who followed our lead, not still rising fast and still in stage one.
I was extremely suspicious about the effectiveness of simple masks and still am. They do stop you from sneezing on other people, obviously.
The biggest effect seems to be psychological - once the majority of people agree to wear masks that means they have taken control of the situation and are willing to do something about it, be responsible.
What "defund the police" really means
The cause isn't united either.
Another part of the problem is you have a lot of people like @newtboy who really DO mean defund the police by the dictionary definition. Those folks are mixed in with the protesters who mean 'reform' when they say 'defund'.
That's all to be expected though when you see the systematic failure of the national police force that is out there. When the number of bad actors in the force becomes too many, includes sheriffs and their deputies, and sees various police chiefs and police union leaders(not toe mention Presidents) defending the bad actors, the people that rise up in anger aren't going to be a uniform centrally organized entity.
As Dave Chapelle refers to it, these are the streets speaking for themselves. The public can't be expected to hold a single, uniform and documented solution that they are marching for. It is unfair to the point of dishonesty to try and discredit the protestors as a 'mob' because their calls for reform aren't consistent enough or well messaged enough. The presumably better educated, smarter professionals running the country(from the bottom to the top) are the one's whose job it is to find a good solution. More importantly, it's also their fault for failing to enact solutions to the problem before the public outrage hit the levels it has.
The problem with "Defund the Police" is right there in the name, and its name only. It's understandable that those who lost hope on reforms felt the need to escalate into using the term "Defund."
But uninformed people that don't understand nuance nor care about policies and enforcement would likely judge that's extreme and leads to anarchy immediately, and dismiss its merits. And let's be honest, would you bet there're more informed people in the USA or uninformed ones? If there's ONE thing that USA does better than any other countries, it's politicizing the hell out of complex issues into sound bites. Pushing people into all-or-nothing For or Against camps. In the end, little gets done, but even more divisions & hate.
I watched on the news here in Canada (with its fair share of racial injustices in its policing not that far behind the USA, ) that the mayor of Toronto (our largest city in the country) picked up and used the term "Detask the Police"... I think that's a much better term to advance the cause.
The Walk.
The length units don't matter in trig (as long as they are consistent of course). Easy to forget I guess.
My measurements versus your estimates? I'll take the measurements thanks.
A full length pic for you here.
https://wrrv.com/21-photos-direct-from-the-2020-west-point-graduation/
Rise on my screen is 14 mm (from grass to top of white curtain), run is 81 mm. 10 degrees. You can measure this yourself.
No really, put a ruler on the screen and tell me what you get. No estimates. What does a measuring device say?
240 what? Pixels slope?
235 what? Elephant ball hairs run?
46 right angle what? 46 mouse penises rise?
No it isn't calculus, it's barely trig, and fuck you, my math is spot on...and they're WAY closer.
It's measurements we disagree on....yours suck donkey balls. You claim the stage floor is 4.5' high and the ramp run only 23.5' long....neither is close to right.
I estimated rise, 3' based on the width of stripes, and run, 40' based on the length of stage segments. That's 4.3 degrees. Do you disagree with the estimation, gleaned from pictures and video of the whole stage/ramp?
You can only be saying it's a 23.5' run and 4.6' rise, that's insanely off on both counts, but granted does give you the 11degree number.
The stripes are 1.5' high, the top of the ramp floor (and stage height) is two stripes high....stage segments are at least 10' long, the ramp extends well beyond 3 segments as seen in the full descent video. If you need to nitpick, it might be 35', but 11 degrees still puts that stage floor at 6'9". It's not 1/2 that....It's 3'. 3' rise at 11degrees makes the ramp 15' approximately....also clearly not the case.
It's Trump that makes himself look awkward, and his attempted bullshit excuses are just awkward icing on his cake of awkwardness.... it was not in any way a steep ramp.
Lol. Yes, they got it wrong by about 1.3 degrees. They should commit seppuku in contrition....
But you got it around 6.7 degrees wrong, and now are still fighting about it using unassigned units of measurement on values pulled from....measuring an off center picture from breitbart of 1/3 of the ramp on a monitor?!... to do calculations, and are clearly measuring it insanely wrong, or they altered the picture, or both.
Put 40' run and 11 degrees into the calculator, you get 8' rise, 35'run gives 6'9" hight. It even gives you visual representation. Do you honestly think that stage floor is 8' up, or even 6'9"? If so, you are insane and no math, picture, argument, or fact will change your mind, because it's clearly waist high, two stripes, about 3'. If you aren't saying it's at least 6' 9" high, admit you got it wrong at least to yourself, and let's move on.
