remember in the 80's MTV had a show called "liquid television"?
remember aeon flux?
thats peter chung, the animator who made dark fury.
it is a pretty decent short film based on the riddick universe.kinda like animatrix in a way.
I didn't know anyone made this movie. Now I'll have to find it somewhere.
I also didn't know Riddick was really just an attention whore. Across for attention, lengthwise for results.

Surviving a Black Mamba bite
Riddick did this too! But I thought it was appropriately in the fiction area of "things to do".
Vin Diesel Doesn't Give a Fuck About Batman
^That's not exactly true. I quite enjoy the Fast Furious and Riddick serieses, so I give a fuck about him in so much as it requires me to continue having more of those to enjoy.
Riddick - Trailer
I was excited to see this trailer but as I was watching it I became more and more disappointed.
I don't see much character development from Riddick..Just another bleh action flick. And this trailer basically showed the whole movie(and probably all the good action parts). I don't see a point in watching it.
@Dr_Q same video but w/o watermark https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ecnfph9ONVQ
Riddick - Trailer
I love that they're stuck with the name "Riddick". It's just... not the name of a way-cool action hero. It's the name of an office stationery supply manager in Milton Keynes.
The Letter (Shortfilm)
Don't stick your dick in crazy. When ya gonna learn.
This girl was in the movie Chronicles of Riddick, was mad sexy there too.
Maher: Atheism is NOT a religion
>> ^lampishthing:
I think that's the difference between Atheism and Agnosticism.
Atheism: belief that there is (are) no God(s).
Agnostic: lack of belief either way.
"Gnostic" is derived from a Greek word meaning knowing (roughly speaking). Theism and Atheism are Gnostic philosophies as they claim to know that there is a God or not. Agnostic is the inverse: not knowing.
Actually you have that wrong. Atheism is not the belief that there are no gods, it's the lack of belief in a god. It's a small but important point. Agnosticism (as you pointed out) is related to knowledge.
Most "atheists" are agnostics atheists, they don't know if there's a good, but they have seen no evidence for one therefore have no reason to believe in one. Very few atheists (even the "hardcore" like Dawkins) will say they know there's no god, simply that it is extremely improbable.
Theists can fall into either camp. There are many agnostic theists, who can't say for sure that there is a good but choose to believe anyway. People like @shinyblurry would claim to be gnostic theists, in that they claim to know there is a god, and consequently believe.
To me, gnosticism (either theistic or atheistic) is an intellectually dishonest position. There is no real evidence (and personal experience doesn't count, I'm afraid) for this existence of god, but by it's very definition an omnipotent being outside the laws of physics could hide his existence from the universe so it's impossible to disprove using science.
Finally, there is one more position that hasn't been mentioned. It's the third axis on the graph. So far, we have belief (considered opinion based on evidence) and knowledge (evidence available), but there is also desire; whether you want god to exist or not. I don't know the positive term for this, but the negative is usually called an "anti-theist", and can be applied to the likes of Dawkins, Hitchens, etc. This is the idea that not only does god probably not exist, it is a good thing that it doesn't. Atheists do not necessarily fall into this camp. Many feel that a benevolent deity would be a nice thing, much like it'd be nice if Santa or the easter bunny existed, but there's simply insufficient evidence for it. Note that anti-theists don't hate theists (other than the ones that any moral person would hate: bigots, child-molesters and so on), they hate the concept of god.
It's even possible to be a theist antitheist ("god's a prick, but he's a powerful prick so I should really obey him") although I'll haven't met any of them. Fictional example would be Riddick
For the record, I am an agnostic atheist anti-theist. I don't know if there's a god, I find it improbable and if he's anything like he's depicted in any of the major religions, I want no part of him.

Movie games are just bastardizations anyway - They shouldn't be taken as "Part of The overall Story" - Ever.
Most Movie Games are never good enough to be games and rest on the merits of the movie itself - so why would anyone be shocked that this one would be any different!
Most of the games you see out there from Disney - for example - are the same game with different graphics to reflect the new movie they're promoting and parents let their kids buy this crap.
I tell my kids - if it's a spin off a movie - don't buy it. Buy it only if it was a video game first!
There are exceptions... For example, the grapevine says that the Chronicles of Riddick game was actually pretty good. What this means is that the awesomeness of a movie and it's associated game and vice versa can never be above a certain limit (the Uwe Boll quotient). This explains why games based on good movies suck so hard, and also explains why the Mario Bros. movie was just abysmal and why the Resident Evil movies were rather disappointing.

After playing this game, I'd love to see a full sandbox game set in a prison. You are a new inmate and your goal is to escape and clear your name. Or somesuch. It would be comparatively easy to make because you'd only need just so many textures and models. Not like Shawshank...more like Escape From Alcatraz only more gritty and dark.
To quote Jerry Seinfeld about prison, "It is a fascinating lifestyle."
I'd play that. Could be pretty good too. You could work in different ways to escape. Sneak out, Thief style, build up a gang and take the place over and have a chopper get you out like in south america, or maybe an adventure game-y and dialog based route to get out legally. Close combat with improvised weapons, raiding the armory... sweet
So.... The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay but much more sandboxy. Sounds good. Prison Break the game if you will.
However, if they made and official Prison Break the game, I'm sure it would be horrible.

Not that I provide much killer sifting advice but I recommend perusing the HD channel on Vimeo from time to time.
In reply to this comment by enoch:
awesome *music in this video also.
beautiful..nice find deano.
thats good advice my friend but i sift almost exclusively things that i have already seen, done or wish to share, and archive on occasion.
rarely do i post something that is new to me.i consider what i would like to share and then search for it.
on rare occasions i stumble upon something that is quite unique even for me and i will post that video with wide-eyed childhood glee, but that is rare.
i am still trying to find graeme revells "escape from crematoria" from the chronicles of riddick but it seems david twohee is a proprietal dickhead and no matter where i look i cannot seem to find that particular clip.
and honestly, why would i peruse a video site for beautiful videos in HQ when all i have to do is watch yours?
you always find beautiful imagery and music that i thoroughly enjoy.
thanks for the helping hand though my friend.
a testament to your character.

thought for sure this would make your great scenes in cinema playlist.then again, many dont think the movie had any redemptive qualities.i thought it was fantastic, not as a horror..failed at that, but as a sci-fi and was very character driven.
