Why Harry Dean Stanton Is The Greatest Character Actor

DrMaximan says...

Thank you for that Notarobot.
Why HDS never won an Oscar is frankly amazing! He was one of those few actors that can make a scene come alive without ever saying a word.
God bless him. Rest in peace Harry, your memory will live on.

Alien - H. R. Giger's Beautiful Monster

Maximan says...

Giger was a true genius . If you have never seen Necronomicon or Necronomicon II, Google it - the art is awesome and so original! Have a look at the furniture he designed it's totally amazing.
ALIEN is a fantastic movie, although the tech looks a little dated now, but I love ALIENS - such a great movie, one of the few films I never get tired of watching!

Great video, thank you for sharing Mekanikal!
And thank you H.R. Giger for your wonderful imagination and skill. Rest in peace.

Oh my god, I don't even know what to say. I loved this picture he made for me, and so did everyone else I shared it with - including my mom, who printed it out and framed it. My son always got a kick out of his shopped images too, and he was about 10 (seven years ago) when I took this picture of him to share with schmawy.

I regret losing contact with him years ago, and now it's too late. You are definitely missed, brother. Rest in peace.

Damn, sorry to hear about this. Schmawy was one of the first Sifters I interacted with back in the day. I didn't always agree with everything he said, but I did always enjoy reading his opinions and ideas.

Rest in peace, you crazy cat. The Sift won't be the same without you.
