Not a silver bullet, but a useful system where it's feasible. I would like to see home systems designed that could store home solar/wind/thermal generation for later use. Batteries suck, are expensive, wear out relatively quickly, and are usually not "green". Micro pumped hydro could eliminate distribution issues (a big deal in California where they shut down the grid during wind storms now), and decentralizes power storage/generation, eliminating a major terrorist target, the power grid.

Yes....like Texas has no standing to sue other states for how they handled the election. The idea is asinine....but I hope other states start suing Texas over, let's say, gun laws, or immigration laws. If one state can sue another because their legislatures disagree, we are going to need a new court system.

The ones they could VERIFY!?! They didn't verify any of those claims....mainly because they weren't a bit true. Their stack of "affidavits" was a print out of claims from their hotline, all unsigned, most anonymous, and a huge percentage was trolling jokes, which they admitted in court. That's the "unsound methodology".... offering a public bribe of $1 million to anyone who could lie convincingly enough about democratic election fraud to be believed in court, then pretending every attempt at that lie was a real honest affidavit. Thousands of dead people voting? Not according to election officials, the DOJ, the FBI, the records of who voted, and the system designed to catch such frauds. Actually there were some attempts, but only a few Republicans voting as their dead relatives were found, not even double digits.

Remember, the ACA was barely passed and had to be watered down so red state democrats would vote for it, then the states had the option to opt in or out of federal assistance. Those that opted out all had terrible experiences with higher insurance costs, states that opted in had relatively stable costs and millions insured, lowering medical costs across the board (because they didn't have to eat 30% of bills and pass the cost to the rest of their patients). Should have been universal single payer. (Side note, my insurance went up 5-10% before Trump, and more than doubled under Trump. I've had the same policy since 08.)
