Where's Ralph Macchio when you need him?
Sonny Boy Williamson Defines the Blues
as long as i'm not later portrayed by Ralph Macchio, i'm good yeah...
(for all the cheese in that movie, it's still got 2 or 3 incredibly memorable moments that had a hand in my try at guitar playing as a youth)

I'd sell my soul to be able to play harp like that...
Well son, there's a certain crossroads. Lies just south of Clarksdale Mississippi. Where Highway 61 and Highway 49 meet is the spot where the King of the Delta Blues, Mr. Robert Johnson, made his deal with Old Scratch himself- you might know him better as the Devil.

Not that I didn't already figure it, but this video's popularity is evidence of the Sift's demographic.
I couldn't hear you from up there on your high horse..
It's not like I see rap battles between two black dudes skyrocketing to the top 15. It's like when everybody was sayin' "Ralph Macchio ('s character) was the SHIT in Crossroads!"
Ralph Macchio in Crossroads
Ralph Macchio was always musically inclined, so that helps. A lot. He's a really good singer, as well. I remember seeing him in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying as the lead role and he was amazing!

You don't do that after only six months of intense training. No way.
Absolutely brilliantly played.
Not "only"! Absolutely correct, gwiz.

Ralph Macchio in Crossroads
My first submission, so please be gentle!
Ralph Macchio did a six month intensive guitar study course and did all of his own guitar work in this movie.
The Karate Kid- HD Trailer with Jackie Chan and that one kid
i really hope the soundtrack isn't a bunch of generic hip-hop. it seems to be a trend in movies that have any kind of fighting. should be better than the first one though, Ralph Macchio's character Daniel Larusso just cried all the time.

Guitar Duel from Crossroads
I always thought this was the raddest scene in film history. Ralph Macchio vs. Steve Vai!
Guitar Duel from Crossroads
Does it scare anyone to know that Ralph Macchio is 45 . . ?
