Super Mario Bros 2 on drums
This guy is amazing. It sounds like Neil Peart rocking it out for Mario Bros.
Rush YYZ - Played by a 13 Year Old Girl Drummer!
I just caught Peart and Rush in the R30 concert from Frankfurt, Germany in 2004 and he has a 360° kit with more drums, cymbals bells and xylophones than you could shake your drumsticks at. I'll give props to the 13 year old and even to Tony Royster if we're comparing, but I don't think either could keep up with Niel. That said, he's 50+, has had umpteen years of experience at this point and, eh, I'll guess did not have this level of talent at their age. But you always look up to others don't you? I can't imagine that Niel had that level of drummer to idolize 30 some odd years ago...

I didn't really post this for there to be a contest of "the best" young drummer ever.
Yes, you did:

Meet Sara. A 13 year old, kick ass drummer who can out-Peart anyone twice her age.
Rush YYZ - Played by a 13 Year Old Girl Drummer!
Eh... I liked her playing for sure. Didn't dig the MIDI, her fake smiles(cringe-tastic), or all those twirls(which mess up her rhythm more than once). I'd rather see her intensely playing it perfect and then smiling at the end for real, instead of trying to copy peart.
I like genuine, not forced.

Peart does do a fair amount of flair -- twirling, flipping and throwing. The difference here is he has to play for 90+ minutes and she just give it her all for a measly 2:11.
The MIDI ruined it for me.

Buddy Rich and Jerry Lewis Drum Solo Battle 1965
Very nice. If you want to see a modern drummer as good as Buddy, look up Neil Peart from Rush.
Evolution of a drummer
Upvote for the kid playing "The Trees" by Rush!
I bet his idol is Neal Peart, even his solo from the end had elements taken directly from Peart's "Rhythm Method".
Most talented drummer in the world? Assaf Seewi
