Livemusic tag for live music performance videos... (Livemusic Talk Post)
Lots of times I've noticed that you tagged music as * livemusic when the performance was lip-synced:
http://www.videosift.com/video/Muskrat-Love-Captain-and-Tenille
http://www.videosift.com/video/ACDC-If-You-Want-Blood-You-Got-It
http://www.videosift.com/video/The-Babys-Every-Time-I-Think-Of-You
http://www.videosift.com/video/More-Captain-and-Tennille-Love-will-keep-us-together
http://www.videosift.com/video/Olivia-Newton-John-A-Little-More-Love
No one protested because it's no big deal. I agree that the livemusic tag should be used when appropriate, but only if you're sure. Usually stuff that sounds exactly like the recorded music isn't live, however.
But like I said, no biggie.

MC Hammer Teleprompter Blooper
I enjoyed Sarah Lane, but I like Olivia just fine. What's with all the Munn-hate?

Mmmmm, Olivia Munn.
Canadian Politican Olivia Chow's Green House Tour
Desperate for relevance, Canada's Commie-Pinko NDP party is trying to recast itself as a 'orange' green party (their traditional party colour is orange). Hence this ad. For a political 'viral ad' of sorts, it's so 'non-slick' it's kind of slick, if that makes any sense.
Olivia and her husband are both Members of Parliament - her husband Jack Layton being leader of the federal NDP party.
For those of you unfamiliar with Canadian politics, we have four federal parties, one of the four being devoted to destroying the country (I'm not being a partisan or anything - they want Quebec to seceed and be its own country).
Having mentioned the Bloc Quebecois, the others are the NDP (as you see in the vid - the most 'left wing' of the 'big four'), the Liberals (middle of the road/centrist), and the Conservatives (yep, right wing).
We also have a Green Party, which irritates the NDP and the Liberals to no end, as they've been stealing about 5% if the votes in the past few elections, enought to spoil a race here and there - they haven't, however, won any seats in Parliament yet(?).
"Dancin'" from XANADU (40's big band & 80's new wave merge)
That's Olivia Newton-John singing all the parts for the 40's band, and the new wave band The Tubes ("She's a Beauty") as the 80's band.
Read a funny quote the other day from Michael Beck, the male lead: "THE WARRIORS opened a lot of doors for me, which XANADU then closed."
Olivia Newton-John: Physical
When this came out a number of the girls at my high school had their hair cut like Olivia Newton-John.
